Review: I think this movie is really really good and I haven't seen better one...It's very unpredictable and that's really cool. With most of the movies you know at the beginning what's gonna be the end, but not with this one. I just can't tell how good it is. And the way that the actors act...You just can't compare it with others...Keep workin' that kinda movies!!!!

Review: Con Air, to me, was not only an action movie, it was an INCREDIBLE action movie! The violence is somewhat excessive, but with a good story and amazing action sequences, I could handle it. If you love action, laughs, and amazing stunt work, Con Air is for you!

Summary: If You Hate Action, Then Don't Watch
Review: I'm Tired of these moronic idiots who gives this movie a 1 or 2. If I wanted to watch an intelligent movie, I'll watch GoodWill Hunting. This movie was non stop action and you get into the movie right away. If you look at the ratings, it average 4 stars. It would get a perfect, but we have these wannabe critics who slice and dice every movie apart, thinking they are siskel and ebert, (They gave two thumbs up), and trying to sway the average viewer like myself from watching a great movie.

Summary: Casual violence, this film is not a favorite
Review: Glamorizes the crimes of hardcore criminals, including a character whose nickname is derived from the number of women he has raped. Deaths occur often in this film and are even supposed to be funny, like a black convict chasing a plane he's trying to get on, and flipping off the pilot just as he's chopped into a bloody mess by the propellers. When people laughed at that, I wanted to walk out. The entertainment value doesn't justify the casual, no-consequences approach to violence taken by the makers of the film.

Summary: Die Hard grows wings
Review: Con Air is one of the most entertaining action movies ever. It is probably the only Die Hard clone that is actually better than Die Hard. It has villains that are easy to hate (and are funny at the same time), has a likeable hero, and a bit of romance to get the women into see it as well. I'm not sure if this is Die Hard with wings, or a rollercoaster with wings.

Summary: Great no matter what Maltin says
Review: Cage plays a great role and the script is not "dumb" as Maltin suggests, but it has much humor and is full of energy. It also reminds of what psychos really are in prison. Oh, and Mr. Maltin, about the countless explosions and actors playing the same kind of criminal roles. Yeah, it called an action/adventure movie. I wish sometimes critics would just let people enjoy the movies and not tell us how moronic we already know they are! As Siskel and Ebert would say, "Thumbs down!" to Leonard Maltin.

Review: EVEN THOUGH I COULD SPEND ALL NIGHT, HERE, PICKING THIS MOVIE TO DEATH- AS A WHOLE, I'D HAVE TO SAY IT WAS ENTERTAINING STUFF! DESPITE BEING HIGHLY UNPLAUSIBLE (BABY-O WAS A DIABETIC, WHY WOULD HE BE ACCEPTING THOSE PINK COCONUT THINGS FROM POE?), AND DISGUSTINGLY SEXIST (THE ONLY DECENT FEMALE CHARACTER, GUARD BISHOP, WAS KNOCKED OUT COLD BY A CONVENIENT BLOW TO THE HEAD, JUST SO THAT POE COULD HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO PLAY HERO), IT HAS THIS IRRITATING WAY OF SWEEPING YOU UP IN IT'S MADNESS! (LIKE MOST OTHER BRUCKHEIMER FILMS). JUST TRY NOT TO GAG WHILEST HAVING TO PUT UP WITH THE BORING SCENES WHERE POE'S HORRIBLY "IDEAL" WIFE&CHILD SOB AND WEEP OVER THEIR DEAR CAMERON. COLM MEANEY WAS GREAT AS AGENT MALOY. THE HIGHLY TALENTED STEVE BUSCEMI WAS A REAL PLEASURE TO WATCH! AS WAS JOHN MALKOVICH'S CYRUS GRISSOM. IT'S DEFINATELY WORTH WATCHING, JUST DON'T TAKE IT TOO SERIOUSLY!

Summary: Con Air is the most entertaining movie I've ever seen
Review: It combines tons of action with some well placed humor. Nicolas Cage is a parolee going home when his plain is hijaaked. John Malkovich proves he's the best bad guy in hollywood, and Steve Buscemi does great as Garland Greene. Danny Trejo also puts in a great performance, as does Nick Chinlund, John Cusak and Ving Rhames. M.C. Gainey has a break through performance. He's great as redneck plain pilot Swamp Thing
