Summary: So Good, There's No Comparison to 'Similars'
Review: Seen 'Point of No Return'? Enjoy "La Femme Nikita"? Generally get into that kind of genre? Got news for you. I know enough to know those are glorified entertainment pieces for juveniles with the 'wanna-be-that-tough-AND-show-it-off-so-I'm-cool' attitude. (Makes me wonder if they think James Bond is real too.) That why I NORMALLY don't go for that genre.But this one took me by surprise. It adds a real human element. War is hell - and although the movie focuses on secret agents, that's still war. But these people feel. It shows the side of ethics, bonding, and caring that even those who defend us - on any level, feel. (Yes, they do feel and care. As a daughter of one on a level I won't disclose, yes, I can vouch that they do.) It's not just all flash, action and adventure, like most of these type movies that never get inside what the characters are going through within themselves. This movie did the rare job of bridging that gap. I let other reviews disclose other aspects of why this movie is just so good, that there's no comparison to anything else in the general genre that I've ever seen.

Summary: This movie is a wonderful Triller
Review: I am usually not a fan of action movies -- those with the fearless, indestructible hero who is able to walk through a hail of bullets and not get hit while everyone else around him does. (I find myself hoping for his demise.) The movie in question has to be really good to noticed by me. Trust me Long Kiss goodnight is one of thoughs movies. That is why I truly enjoy this movie. It is much more unique and appealing with its vulnerable and reluctant hero who builds her confidence with knowledge of her past. I found myself cheering for her from beginning to end, and I was just as surprised as the character was of each re-discovered ability ("Chefs do that, right?") It was one of the 1st dvds I purchased once I got my player.

Review: Geena is hot and so is DVD. Plot revolves around CIA operations involving mild-mannered school-teacher(Davis) who teams up with Jackson.Riveting with rapid-fire editing and sound.

Review: Like the fellow from Egypt...I just heard about this film....and it is now Nov 2002...the part to which he refers is the scene in which Samuel Jackson is told that "it would be hard to fake the death of 4000" and so they will have to die in order for the US to get funding for the military...and the last line...."To blame it on the Muslims"....I found this 1996 film astounding and horrifying..What is even worse I suppose is now believing that the govt is capable/willing to do anything on behalf of their goals...namely seizing oil....anything is now possible....shameful....

Review: THIS IS THE FIRST TIME TO HEAR ABOUT THIS FILM . AND TILL NOW I DID,T SEE THE FILM , THE ONLY PART WHICH I SAW WAS THE ONE THAT CONTAIN SPEAKING ABOUT EXPLOR THE WTC AND KILLING 4000 HUMANBEING WHILE THE CIA ALLOW PASSING THE TEROISEM TO MAKE THESE EXPLOSION AND FINALY THE CIA WILL FIGHT THE MUSLEMS AND THE ALL MIDEL EAST COUNTERIES.

Summary: A keeper in my collection
Review: Like the other reviewer said, "Give it a rest." The combination of Geena Davis & Samuel L. Jackson is great, the supporting cast is so darn competent and good that it makes the whole movie even easier to watch, the special effects and stunts are top-drawer, and just because the "hero" is a girl who is tough as they come is no reason not to give this movie high marks. I think it was under-rated when it came out (Cutthroat Island really wasn't very good), but this one is a different matter. Put it in with the Lethal Weapons and the Die Hards and enjoy it.

Absolutely the best she ever has done. If you like her in 'Cutthroat Island' your'e going to love this one. Samuel Jackson is the perfect addition to this great flick.
This is definately a got to have for the video collection.....HAPPY VIEWING...

Summary: Chilling WTC reference
Review: I had purchased this DVD a while back, but hadn't watched it until recently. The chilling part is the references to the conspiracy that the CIA & FBI were behind the WTC basement bomb in the 90's to generate more funding for their respective organizations.

Review: Geena Davis plays a boring frumpy schoolteacher who recovers from her long-term amnesia to discover she is Charlie Baltimore, a butt-kicking assassin! Aided by Samuel L. Jackson, she starts to recover her past life before her enemies kill her, while he also tries to reconcile her with the daughter she has had and raised during her amnesiac state. This movie is great! It is a very physical role and Davis carries it off with aplomb. Makes every woman want to find the Charlie Baltimore in her!!!!!

Review: I don't know what to say about this film... its just amazing. Its not your big whoopty dramatic film. It's not a laugh out loud comedy. Its just a [good] action flick. Lets face it, its not a big academy award typre film. Its just a brainless action film,which everyone loves. The plot, shallow. The acting a little better then mediaocre. The action, totally enthralling and suspensful.The dialogue, blunt which is good for the film.I really don't know what to day about it!!! just go and see it!!! you'll be happy... if you are in the mood for a movie with no sappy [stuff], and people crying all the time.
