Summary: Engaging but technical difficulties marred it.
Review: Great seeing Jean Reno again, and as always, De Niro shines. But abut halfway through the movie, the sound went out of synch and I spent the rest of the film watching the mouths move and the words come spilling out a beat later. Shades of Japanese sci-fi films of the 60s! Am I the only one who noticed this?

Summary: Good Demo Movie
Review: Ronin is a great movie for all you people who have a dolby digital surround sound system. The sound is great. It is real spacious and the chase scene gives your system a test. I thought the movie was good, especially if your trying to demo your surround system.

Summary: Excellent film!
Review: Ronin is more than just an action film. Granted, it moves slowly at times, but that is because that's how John Frankenheimer wished to tell his story. To assume that an action film cannot(or should not) be anything more than non-stop fights, shootouts, explosions and swearing is to miss the point of movies altogether. They are first and foremost a forum in which to tell a tale. This movie takes men and women who are in a rarified line of work, and shows us how they are just like us; that is, they are just trying to earn a living, and make it day to day. That being the case, it makes sense that they would be cautious about engaging themselves in an operation before they are sure they are prepared to do so. That is why it takes a while for the plot to progress to the point where things get blown up.

Summary: Thank God
Review: If maryjusz drives her Chevy like they drove the Audi in the movie, thank God I dont live in Chicago Ill.

But really. The movie was first rate. The same person that directed the car scenes in Ronin also directed the car scenes in Grand Prix, another excellent flick starring James Gardner.

Summary: Great action movie.
Review: What else do you expect from Frankenheimer? It was definitly his movie. He did a great job and it was definitly worth seeing. I will buy it as soon as the price drops (the price is so high due to the rental community) it will drop soon. I would suggest everyone at least renting it to see Frankenheimer do his work.

Summary: Totaly awsome
Review: I love this movie! We recently bought our DVD player and rented Ronin, and bought Predator. After this action packed movie, full of car chases, shootouts, and an intricate plot, I wish I had bought this one instead.

Summary: Funniest Movie of 1998
Review: When I brought this flick home I remembered how funny the car chases were and that my friend and I ahd a great time laughing our heads off. The car chases are so absurd their ingenious and the sniper on the ice skater is my favorite image of all the movies last year. A fun film to watch while blazed as hell. Forget "There's Something About Mary," this was the funniest film of last year.

Summary: This film wasn't that hot.
Review: This film was okay but I thought it should have more and better action. And it should have helicoptors. The thing I liked about this film was that it had Sean Bean and Jean Reno,I really like them.
