Summary: Professional Film-Making!
Review: Gunplay was never so integral to a plot yet so totally overshadowed by the heartfelt and impressive actions and emotions as they are in the Professional. Jean Reno is incredible (as usual) once again speaking rarely, but still conveying warmth at the end of a smoking barrel. Gary Oldman was also phenomenal (again, as usual) And topping off the cast was the soul to the movie, (and now the soul to many across the wierd wide web) is the beautiful and almost painfully talented Natalie Portman in a role that, if not for the devilish gleam in her eyes, you would wonder if she wasn't living the film as we watch it. You could ask for a far worse role model than a hitman with a heart of gold.

Summary: "I love these calm little moments before the storm"
Review: I can't agree more with the customer reviews...INCREDIBLE!! This movie exemplifies everything cinema is lacking today. Flawed characters you actually care about, villains that are so unpredictable they actually scare you, beautiful camera shots, and I could go on and on. Bravo Mr.Besson an instant classic BUT in a world where viewers are impressed with the same old good guys vs. bad guys, this movie will probably get passed over like many others. Watch it or you're missing out.

Summary: Greatest Movie ever! Be careful: Buy only Director's Cut
Review: This is the movie I like most: It is the one and only action-movie, it's intelligent, has fine actors and a great camera-guidance. Also it is directed by Luc Besson- maker of th 5th Element. But I have to say that the cut version is nonsense, only the Director's Cut makes sense.

Summary: Surprisingly touching!
Review: Besson's American debut is a not quite quite beleivable but surprisingly touching drama. Jean Reno's performance is excellent throughout. While Gary Oldman performance is, shall we say, intense, the character adds an aire of heroism and likability to Reno's relatively benevolent hit-man character ("No women, no children- that's the rules."). Beautiful cinematography, a sumptuous classical soundtrack are Besson rademarks and this movie is no exception. Also, look for an ammusing cameo by Jay Leno.

Summary: This movie has it all! Action, love, and comedy!
Review: I have the Professional on DVD and thought it was a really great movie. It has cool action scenes that involve whole swat teams. This movie also has a lot of emotion. I think that this is Luc Besson's best movie in my opinion.

Review: I LOVE THIS MOVIE. GARY OLDMANS PERFORMANCE IS INTENSE. I WILL NEVER FORGET THESE TWO LINES,"NO WOMEN NO CHILDREN" AND "EVERYONE"

Summary: oh-my-gosh
Review: Excellent. Action, humor, romance, all at the same time. It makes you laugh and cry and hide under your blankets. Natalie Portman's childlishly unresistable. Jean Reno's great. The movie is great. A must-see movie.

Summary: A tale of salvation and redemption
Review: This film dramatizes the dreams we all have that, in the midst of our despair, there shall appear a rescuer who will take care of us and lead us to salvation. These two do this for each other and, in the process, give rousing performances in the best action flick I've ever seen. I've watched this movie about once a year since I first discovered it, and am now buying a copy.
