Summary: "Jaws" is brilliant!
Review: Steven Spielberg's fifth motion picture that had a theatrical release is truly one to be savoured. The sheer brilliance behind the intellectual Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) combined with his decent physical condition + the raw, animalistic quality of the Ahab-like Quint (Robert Shaw) + the grim determination behind the Brooklyn-born Martin Brody (Roy Schieder) make for true cinematic chemistry. After scrutinizing this film's first sequel (it has three), I realized that the shark, while not as technologically advanced as, say, the Tyrannosaurus Rex from Speilberg's more recent "Jurassic Park" (1993), was every bit as convincing and a tremendous technological achievement 24 years ago that was not improved upon in "Jaws 2" or, as I gather, any of the other "Jaws" sequels. Everything about this motion picture clicks, from its artistic design to its screenplay!

Summary: One best movie ever made.
Review: What a movie , I was glued to the end. It's up there with all the Star Wars movies and you must see really this movie. With one of the best cast ever and qute (stort of) realisic shark. With a good start and very good ending.

Summary: Classic, in every sense of the word!
Review: From John Williams' famous score to the still-terrifying scenes of shark attacks, to the final boat excursion, "Jaws" is one of the finest movies ever made. Based on Peter Benchley's shlock novel, Spielberg's movie adaptation took the nation by storm and endangered the recreational swimming market for years. Roy Scheider and Richard Dreyfuss are phenomenal, but Robert Shaw's Quint is quite possible my favorite movie role ever. The whole thing is fantastic. (This version is widescreen.)

Summary: Most effective thriller since Psycho
Review: Well I have to admit that I spent a month without going into the water because of this movie, it's true, it's frightening, and spielberg was only 26, that's amazing. Even before the monster show his face you're already scared. It's a masterpiece, a movie from a time where action movies where good as this, Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark, unfortunately today we are obligated to watch such ridiculous patriotics and idiotics movies as Independence Day(ugh, that hurts!!!!!!!!), Armaggedon(One of the worst movies of all time) and Godzilla(or How to spend millions in garage).

Summary: A Movie Reveiw
Review: This Movie is one of the best movies of all time. All of the sequels went downhill from there. The 3rd one made it seem like the first one never happened. If You like Movies with a good plot And Great, but slightly dated ,special effects ,You will love this movie. You can rent it , But I would prefer Buying it.

Summary: The Coolest Movie there is !
Review: THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST ! If you like action and suspense, this is your movie. For people who are grossed out easily, don't see it. I was scared but excited when Richard Dreyfuss whent underwater, pulled a sharkthooth out of a wrecked boat and saw a white, severed head with an eyeball torn out. A MUST SEE !

Summary: THE BEST THRILLER SINCE PSYCHO
Review: MY FAVORITE PART IS WHEN ROY SCHIEDER TAKES ALL THOSE SHOTS AND BLOWS UP THE SHARK. A MUST SEE.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best character-study, thriller ever made!!
Review: This movie is great on many levels: the score is terrific, from the "shark's theme" to the "happy day shark hunting" music. The interesting 3-dimensional characters, including Chief Brody who, while hating and feating the water, is willing to risk his life serving and protecting the citizens; and Quinn, whose Ahab-like obsession is revenge for his fallen war comrades instead of a lost leg. And as a cinematic joy as evidenced by how long it takes to see the full shark; how you can "smell" the insides of the shark Brady & Hooper disect; the tranquility of the first scene which belies the violence that's about to occur. This is not a movie to be missed! You will find something (and probably many things) to enjoy.
