Summary: Great Cd's!
Review: Hi, I've personally tried about 5 brands of different brands of cd-r's (music and regular) and I found that the memorex cds that amazon has work very well. I have this cd player that is very sensitive and the only brand so far that it likes is Memorex. If amazon keeps this price, I will gladly re-order again!

Review: I have ordered these disks repeatedly for the past couple of months and have found them to be completely reliable. And because the print on the disk is so light, it doesn't show through stick on labels, even if most of the label is white. They are also resonably priced compared to the rest of the major manufacturers.

Summary: Memorex CD-R Music 74-minute Are The Best !!!!
Review: I have tried other brands of music CD-R's and have been disappointed. They would play in my home system but they wouldn't play in the car. The Memorex Music CD-R's work just fine in my home system and in the system I have in my car. I also tried them in a couple of my friends car and they work fine also. Also the disc look really good too and that's a plus if you're not putting a label on them. In fact they look so good I hate to cover them with a label but I do on most of them because with the Memorex Label Maker that I purchased separately you can really get a professional job. These discs are great.

Summary: These don't work with my Philips CD Burner
Review: I tried copying both text and audio files to a couple of Maxell CD-Rs. Unfortunately, My Philips CD burner refuses to copy to them. I lost a whole day fussing and reloading software. The technical support folks at Gateway even suggested I reformat my hard drive to solve the problem. The problem, it turns out, was just the CD.I'll stick with Ricoh's CD-Rs platinum. They work dependably on my machine with no hassle. Nuisance, these little temperamental compatibility problems are.
