Review: I can only speak of my experience with the Sony CD-R Audio. I have yet to make a coaster nor have I even had an issue with the longevity of a CD. I burn all of my music CDs with the Sony RCD-W222ES. I use this strictly for burning music CDs. I have found that these CDs using this recorder are much better in quality than anything I've ever burned using my PC. I would recommend looking into purchasing this recorder if anyone wishes to produce any quality CDs.

Summary: Don't Waste Your Money
Review: The CD-R's are the worst possible ones that I could have bought. Out of a pack of 50 over half were unusable. I had never had a problem with my burner before. I landed up having to throw out the other pack of 50 that I had bought. Stick with Imation. They are the same price and never have I had one be unusable.
