Summary: 4 out of 5 dentists agree...
Review: They seriously went to the trouble of making a new Batman movie and THAT was all they could come up with? First of all, wouldn't you think the guy playing BATMAN would get top billing? Not in this case, because this is just one big marketing extravaganza. They spent too much time figuring out who got the most money and what the action figures would look like and forgot to come up with a plot. The first two Batman movies got the dark atmosphere of Gotham City right on. "Forever" was actually a step up from "Returns" cinematically speaking, but this one falls right off the charts. Clooney is the worst Batman yet and this is by far the worst thing I've ever seen Arnold do (if Mr. Freeze's part had been rewritten, I agree with an earlier reviewer who said Patrick Stewart should have played the role anyway). O'donnel is boring at this point, and throw Alicia Silverstone into the mix and you have two too many sidekicks. Not only is this the worst Batman Movie, it's one of the five worst movies I've EVER seen.

Summary: an embarassment to the legend!!!
Review: what...can't i give 0 stars! let me start off by saying i like george clooney as batman.he is a natural successor to michael keaton. o.k.,now let's have fun...joel schumacher should NEVER be allowed to direct another batman movie again. he should not be allowed to watch another batman movie again. arnold and uma should have their sag cards taken away...and chris o'donnell...what's with this guy? Batgirl has more "b***s" than this guy.and speaking of batgirl, is it my imagination or has reading and watching batman for forty years made my memory faulty. i could have sworn batgirl was commissioner gordan's daughter barbara!what was warner brothers thinking with this overblown,cilche-ridden, misinformative, pathetic excuse for a cornicopial menagerie of failed attempts to continue a legacy?can anybody say mass merchandising? this film is an embarassment to the legend and the next one shoud have michael keaton waking up to find out that "forever" and "b&r" were only a bad dream. then the rest of us could go on with our lives as well.

Summary: Ugh. This is ain't gonna be pretty...
Review: This is the WORST movie I've ever seen. It doesn't make sense, the special effects are terrible, the acting horrid, & it was just...plain...bad. Two villains, the pun-spouting Mr. Freeze (who wants to freeze the world) & the I'm-a-biological-female-but-somehow-look-like-a-drag-queen Poison Ivy (who wants to cover the earth in plants) ARE WORKING TOGETHER! Also starring the whiny, tiny Chris O'Donnell & the first superheroine-with-babyfat Alicia Silverstone. Gratuitous use of neon & cod-pieces. I think Batman maybe had a total of twelve lines with all the other character fighting for screen time. ATTENTION GREEDY, STUPID HOLLYWOOD HACKS: WATCH THE BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES FOR SOME POINTERS ON HOW TO DO A BATMAN STORY RIGHT! Ugh.

Summary: Travesty
Review: This wasn't a movie. This was an exercise in merchandising. The first three Batmans weren't exactly spot-on, but this one was insulting to all Batman fans. George Clooney was fine as Batman as was most of the other cast (except Arnold, whose part should have gone to Patrick Stewart). I put the blame squarely on Joel Schumacher's shoulders. In trying to resurrect the TV series from the 60s he has shown he has absolutely no understanding of the character. Warner Bros please note: Keep the cast, REMOVE THE DIRECTOR! And please, NO KURT RUSSEL!!!

Summary: I want to cry
Review: I find it hard to believe the makers of this film watched it before they released it. If they had they would have realised that filming mad dog grundy performing his animal impressions for a couple hours would have produced a more appealing offering. The one liners are cheeseyer than Edam, the plots as weak as whey and the script isn't fit to wrap chips in. Baaaaad, Baaaad Baaaadd - "time to put this film on ice - hahahaha" PS. What on earth does Alica Silverstone's character contribute to this film?

Summary: FINALLY, BATMAN ISN'T SOMBER AND GETS TO THE ACTION AND FUN
Review: IT ABOUT TIME BATMAN "LEARNED TO LIVE" WITH HIMSELF AND START ENJOYING LIFE. I WAS TIRED OF THE DARK, SOMBER BRUCE WAYNE SITTING AROUND FEELING SORRY FOR HIMSELF. NO, IT'S NOT THE GREATEST PLOT, BUT IT'S FUN, GOOD SPECIAL EFFECTS AND GREAT COSTUMES. ALSO A GREAT MOVIE TO SHOW OFF YOUR DVD SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM!
