Summary: This rocks
Review: Spawn 3 is fabulous. I thought the first season was okay; it dragged at parts. The second season started to pick up and got much better (although the violence was a bit over the top). But here, the third season: this is where it's at. This is without a doubt the best season. It has a rock solid story. The mystery with the detectives is excellent. You keep wanting to learn more and more about the characters and this world. I'm really impressed with the third season. I can't wait for the next episodes. Do yourself a favor and check this out.

Summary: This video is the bomb
Review: Spawn 3 is far and away better than both 1 & 2. Which are both very good vidoes. More action, darkness, and blood than the first two, Spawn just get better and better

Summary: Spawn
Review: Spawn is a resurrected U.S. soldier/assassin who made himself one bad deal with Hell and tries to make things right. Or something like that. It probably wasn't a good idea to immerse myself in Spawn with SPAWN 3, a compilation of episodes from the third season of the HBO animated series.
However, after seeing SPAWN 3, I'm not at all anxious to investigate 1 or 2. The animation is good to very good but my gosh this in one slow moving action story. Even a neophyte like me could pick up on most of the important plot points because this movie tends to repeat things over and over and over. I realize this is supposed to be a mature comic aimed at an adult audience, but I found its philosophical musings shallow and trite. If I'd been paying more attention I might have found them laughable.
If you want to watch an angst-driven animated hero, or anti-hero, with really bad teeth and a cool, life-of-its-own costume, give this one a shot.

Summary: Great show!
Review: Spawn without a shadow of a doublt one of the most darkest and deepest animated series ever made.
It is a very sad story wich all you spawn fans should know.
I am a big fan Of spawn. I have just about every issue and ones to date but the movie was good to even thoe it flat out sucked.
When I first saw a promo for it on HBO I thought this was gonna
blow chuncks.
I was wrong. The series is one of the best! Very Mature!
The series does contain Graphic language,Nudity,Graphic Violence(lots of it! You see chains go through a guys mouth and rip his jaw open.) The series like I said is the best!

1st season(which was very graphic) was like the worm up for
season two(wich was very dark and graphicly violent....dont let the kids see this season.)
Season 3 was a bit different from the bullit shot to twitch in the head to seeing sam go insain cause of spawn to terry still being on the run to Spawn confronting his wife as someone els and having sex with her.
This season was dark, graphic and grimy...I still enjoyed it but..........there were a few holes they left out like after the very end of season 3 it left alot of people thinking.
What exactly happining and when is there going to be a 4th season. I Hope they come out with a first season than that would leave alota questions behind such as what happend with wanda and what about the whole baby issue. BRing a season 4!!!!

I recently found out there is a dvd series!!! AWSOME!!

All I have of the series are the taped episodes and the entire vhs season videos. The vhs versian is pretty good(If you got it when it first came out in stores before the whole dvd era camne)

But I am gonna probably go to best buy and buy all the seasons there. ESSPECIALLY SEASON 2!! Season 2 was the best in the series. We notice a more darker spawn.

Well I cant really recommend this to you since I dont have it on dvd but who care I recomend you get on any.

I recomend you get it for vhs or dvd. Doesnt matter just as long as youre watching so get either cause there awsome even though dvd has better quality But like I said WHO CARES just as long as youre watching the damn thing!

I can Relate this to other great hits such as Aeon Flux series and The Maxx(wich was very confusing and sad for me)

So if you want a good dark grimmy cartoon with loads of mature content get the spawn series on dvd or vhs.

AND GET THE COMICS!!!!!!THERE NOT DISSAPOINTING

Summary: Better Than Spawn Animated 1 or 2
Review: The animation is superb, dark and spooky, but viewers expecting a slam-bang orchestration of comic book violence, as the title misleadingly suggests, better look to the first Spawn animated videos. This is not a negative thing, as this is the first of the Spawn videos to add a human element and some complexity to the characters. It is the best written of the series, and you come away understanding much more what motivates Spawn and his surrounding cast of characters. While the first two videos were technical achievements, they left me feeling cheated because they presented the chracters in a dull and lifeless way. You actually care about the characters in this video. Even the battle between heaven and hell is not presented as merely good versus evil, but as a choice between the lesser of two evils. As usual, the voice acting is superb, particularly Keith David who is Spawn. There is a small documentary segment at the end where the actors talk about their roles, and one of them even says how this was the first time he felt like he could really do some acting in the series. I hope they don't stop making the animated Spawn, because it is getting better. Finally, like the WB Batman Animated Series, the animated Spawn is greatly superior to the live-action film representation of the character.

Summary: Extremely Dark Third Season
Review: The movie was one of the worst I had seen in my life. I did not have high hope for the animated series but I was very much surprised. The dialogue and, bizzarly enough, the acting are a hundred times as good as the film and the plot and characters are also much more intriguing.

This is the third season of Spawn and it just seems to be getting darker and darker. But the one thing I can be sure of from this is that it's going to have one hell of a send-off when the entire story finally climaxes.

I'd start watching this if I were you. But be prepared. The violence is quite graphic and the overall tone of the stories ranges from kiddie fiddlers to satanic demons. Needless to say, it's not a cartoon for kids. It's an animated series for adults.

The DVD is in full screen format, as originally drawn and is in Dolby 2.0 surround.

Summary: a tease!
Review: this dvd is such a tease. i want more! where are the rest of the episodes after this one?!?!??!?!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Definately worth buying...!
Review: This movie is very good. The action sequences are great, and the movie captures more of the shadowy, mystic scenes. This one has more of a clear image than Spawn 2, but it's like Spawn 2, the movie only shows the top of Spawn's head, and his eyes, some of his cape, and the rest of him is just black. I loved the part when Spawn battled Lilly, a female vampire sent by heaven to kill Spawn. And Lisa Wuu, if you've seen Spawn 2, in Spawn 3 you find out her secret: that she too is a Spawn-killer from heaven, and her real name is Jade. Like all the Spawn movies, this one is from ..., I like the cartoons better than the live ones, because Spawn does more things than just trying to defeat Hell and stuff. This one is also sort of like Spawn, the live one, because Spawn gets shot and then heals his wounds instantly. Anybody would have to be crazy not to like this movie, if it was my choice to rate all the animated Spawn movies, they'd be NC-17, but it's not my decision. Anyway, I like this movie, buy it, you will NOT be disappointed.
