Summary: Spider Man(The Best)
Review: Spider man was so cool.I've like what 5 times already.Tobey Maguire was believeable in his actions and so was Kristen Dunst.I liked the fact that Peter couldn't get his web to work and when he did,he did the George of the Jungle thing. The only thing I didn't like about it was at the end the love sence.Saying "that's all I have to give" and not saying love was sure mean in my case. The next movie I bet will be better than this one since you might get to see Shadow Cat and Harry as the Villian. You should go see it cause I bet you'll like it.

Summary: This is real summer movie magic
Review: Excellent movie! Fantastic. I went in with high expectations and all were exceeded. The action was realistic - the swinging and the web weaving marvelous. The characters were endearing, believable and yet comic strip characters nonetheless. Willem Dafoe was a great villain - and I don't agree with the critics who said that he left something to be desired. Nothing about this movie left something to be desired - it's all there - action, suspense, great characters, love, romance, sadness, happiness, and some great acting. Great job by all!

Summary: A movie for all ages
Review: I begged my husband to take me and the kids to see Spiderman for at least a week before he finally succumbed. I was prepared to see an only slightly upgraded depiction of the old 70's version, but was completely knocked flat by what they'd done to Spidey's web-slinging character. I mean, he REALLY slings webbing! It's not a device attaced to his wrist that he fills with a web chemical. It is one of the profoundly coolest effects offered by the movie. All that from a genetically altered spider, eh? Makes me want to visit a lab too.

If you like heart-pounding action scenes, unrequited love, mystery, adventure and just a little touch of fantasy (like the fact that humans generally do not defy the law of physics and hang onto the side of a building with wee hairs on their fingertips) then this is the one you don't want to miss. I actually made noise, a "wow" here and an "oooh" there. It was great. If I could talk my hubby into it, we'd go see the thing again!

Tobey is not one of my all time favorite actors to be sure, and I really expected his nasal, whiney-butt voice (Pleasantville) to make Spidey seem more of a lad than a grown man, but he pulled it off. Miraculously, he pulled it off and Spidey was a masculine character after all.

Will be purchased on DVD when available FOR sure.

Summary: A must see for the spider-man fans young and old!!!!!
Review: This movie was great! the only downer was thestoryline moved along too fast. Tobey Maguire does an excellent job of playing both Peter Parker and Spider-man.

Summary: My whole family loved it.
Review: We all really liked this movie, ages 3 to 70. My teen kids have seen it 3 times now, at different theaters, tiny to mega, and still appreciate it. The little guys, 3 & 6, had "met" Spider Man in FL a couple months ago, and have been looking forward to the movie. It was a little scarry in some places for the littlest of the gang. The computer graphics aficionados gave it high marks. The photographer-wanna-be especially liked the way they portrayed him as a photographer, much better than in a couple of the cartoons they've seen.

Summary: Spidey Rules!!!!
Review: This was a movie I had highly anticpated seeing once I had heard that it was in the making.
I grew up reading the comic strips, and watching Spidey do his wall climbing on the children's show "Electric Company". I always thought Spiderman was one of the best super heros every created.
I went into the movie with a clear head, no expectations, and just planned to enjoy a night out at the cinema.
Tobey Maguire plays Peter Parker/Spiderman, and he did an outstanding job. I remember how complex and sad Peter Parker was in the comic strips, and Maguire brought him to life in what I thought was the best light possible. I can't imagine any other actor playing this role. He was perfectly cast. Fans of Tobey Maguire, you will definitely enjoy his high energy and intensity and his Spidey moves.
I loved this entire film!! I wouldn't change a thing about it, and I don't have one negative thing to say about it.
It was fun to watch, and it kept my eyes glued to the screen as I watched Spiderman duke it out with the green goblin, played fiendishly by William Dafoe, and watched Spiderman win the girl, played by Kirsten Dunst. I've watched her grow up on the big screen, first in "Interview with a Vampire", and most recently in "The Virgin Suicides" and "bring it on". I think she has transitioned quite well into somewhat more adult roles than her previous work. She is a fine actress, and I think she and Tobey had an amazing chemistry together.
Spiderman is worth the price of admission!! It is a visually stunning film that has great action, a great story, and great actors that all play their roles perfectly. This was the best time I have had at the movies in a long time.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Summary: Nauseating love story
Review: I watched the Spiderman cartoon as a kid and I don't remember the love story behind it all being rammed down my throat the way it was in this movie. Granted I didn't read the comic book, so perhaps it was more of a theme there. I thought they went way too overboard with the love story in this movie. I don't have a problem with love stories, but I didn't go to watch Spiderman for the romance. For the amount of action that did happen in the movie, it was great. Willem Dafoe is awesome. No doubt about that. I recommend people see him in the movie Shadow of the Vampire if they liked him in Spiderman. Toby McGuire did a good job too, even though the guy had to spit out the most nauseating romantic lines I've heard in quite a while. But Kirsten Dunst, talented actress that she is, just didn't seem the best suited to the role that she played. I think the movie could have been a lot better if they had chopped out 50% of the romance and substituted it with more action.

Review: It's the best movie I've seen in a long time. It's definately worth going to see.

Summary: Good Movie, But The Ending Ruins It
Review: The movie I could say was pretty good, the costumes were well done, the computer graphics were well played, Toby Maguire and Kirsten Dunst were good as the leading parts. However, if you like movies that have a romantic ending, this is not the movie for you. I won't give away what happend, but the way the movie endend seemed like a total waste. The way it ends may satisfy a guy, but girls who see this movie may be a little dissapointed.I enjoyed Spider Man, but I had to give it 3 stars because of the way it ended.

Summary: My friendliy neighborhood Spider-Man, how do I love thee?
Review: Oh wow! "Spider-Man" is here! Yahoo! A movie I have been waiting to see for a long time- And I couldn't have asked for more! Tobey Maguire is excellent as Peter Parker, a ordinary teenage boy who only dreams of winning the heart and admiration of the lovely Mary Jane Watson (Who is wonderfully portrayed by Kristen Dunst), his next-door neighbor. While on a field trip to a science lab, Peter is accidentally bitten by an genetically altered (Or is it radioactive?) spider-and gives our protagonist the ability of a spider! It is enjoyable when we watch Peter discover and develop his special abilities. When his beloved Uncle Ben (Who, with May Parker, had raised Peter since he was orphaned as a child.) is killed, Peter learns that "with great power, comes great responsibility" and promised himself to fight crime as the amazing Spider-Man! The movie is entertaining to watch because the storyline is well written-it is original, creative, and they don't tend to copy from anything. I like when the story has original elements (Unless it is based on a book.). The actors were well chosen. Spidey's web-slinging looked so real-I loved the special effects. The action scenes were awesome, but what I liked most about the movie-had to be Tobey Maguire's performance. No one could have done it any better! One of the things I didn't like-was the Green Goblin's costume. Hello?! It looks like something that came out of the "Power Rangers". But that wasn't so important. I enjoyed the movie-and I await the sequel and the DVD release with great anticipation! Arachnophobics beware! Here comes the Spider-Man!
