Summary: Comic movies dont get any better then this one!
Review: I actually waited awhile to see this movie to avoid the lines. The movie is just awesome with great special effects and a nice story too. They really brought spiderman to life in this movie. I cant wait for the sequel!

Summary: Having the cake and eating it to.
Review: Ah yes, the mega-successful Spiderman. So big was this film, even the mighty Star Wars was caught in its web. Among the famous American superheroes, Spiderman has the reputation of being the most humanly flawed. Unlike Superman (an alien) or Batman (a multimillionaire), the story of Spiderman (the working superhero) forces certain realities on those who would retell it. This fact (as well as director Sam Raimi's instincts) perhaps partially saved the movie from the conformist impulses of the Hollywood executives: amidst the very effective CGI, the movie must deal with certain aspects of contemporary working class life. Although the acting and the script are far from perfect (screenwriter David Koepp does his [darndest} to kill this movie; his plot points unfold mechanically and without surprise, a matter bolstered by the familiarity of the tale being told), they are better than those of many other mindless blockbusters.

Maguire portrays a timid high school student with success; he and Dunst have some appeal as a pair of lovers held apart by circumstance and the pushiness of their wealthier acquaintances. Spiderman presents a certain image of heroism, of the brutality of class relations, and of love despite all obstacles. In the absence of any serious exploration of these issues in the mass media, the movie can, despite its superficial exploration of these questions, tap deep if semi-conscious feelings and needs in the population. These are the social roots of Spiderman's mass appeal. However, Spiderman, like flag-waving patriotism, sits astride an uneasy ambiguity: does the American flag at the end of the film stand for liberty? Or for unquestioned support for the government's so-called war on terrorism? In the end, Spiderman is a swift and entertaining film that does its best to discard suffocating pretension.

Summary: The GREATEST
Review: The comic book was okay. This brings it up 5 notches! The screenplay was perfect. The special effects- awesome. Whoever said that this movie is garbage should jump in a Dumpster! Well i can go on for hours about this, so I'll see you in other articles!! By the way, the exoskeleton costume of the Green Goblin doesn't look like something from Power Rangers! Power Rangers are stupid! This movie isn't.

Summary: An "amazing" film
Review: Without a doubt, this is the film that all Spider-Man (and Marvel fans) have been waiting for. As a lifelong comic book super-hero enthusiast, I must admit that Spider-Man has always been a favorite of mine, and watching some of the past adaptations has been painful at times. Seeing the transition from comic book to film performed so well in this case, however, is remarkable, from the special effects to the writing and even some of the inside jokes meant strictly for the comic book fans (we know who we are). Instead of poking fun at the character, the filmmakers do what they should do when making a movie of this caliber, and that is to pay homage to the character. People who may not understand why this character is so popular before seeing this movie will (we hope) understand why after seeing it. While it is not a literal translation of each and every comic book, it does capture the essence of who he is and what he represents. This movie may have seemed to take forever to make, but it was certainly well worth the wait. Make Mine Marvel!

Come On! It is the best movie out there and you know it! I am a Spider-man wiz on the movie and the cartoons. ... If you have never seen the movie let me tell you a little about it. This is how the beginning goes I know because I have seen the movie 7 times! Who am I, you ask? Are you sure you want to know? You say you want to hear the story of my life. That story is not for the faint of heart. If somebody said that my life was a little happy tale, if somebody told you that I was just your average ordinary guy, without a care in the world........then somebody lied. That is all I can say for now but if you want to hear more just e-mail me!

It all starts when Peter Parker is bitten By a radioactive spider and before he notices it he is web swinging, jumping across buildings and saving damsils in destress but all this leads up to the final battle above the city with the Green Goblin.
