Review: The first time I saw this movie was on DVD, and right from the beginning it caught my attention and never let go. The entire cast give excellent performances, and the action is fast-paced enough to keep even a casual movie watcher on the edge of their seat. The style this movie has comes into play the most in my opinion during the dancing scene and during the exquisite sword fight between Zorro and Elena. The sword fighting in this movie is some of the best I have ever seen. This is one hero movie that should not be missed - It's just too good.

Review: The Mask Of Zorro was awesome!! I fell in love with it the first time i saw it! Anthony Hopkins did a great job as the old Zorro--searching for his daughter and to even the score between him and Rafeal. And Antonio Banderas did a superb job as the "new" Zorro. All in all I really enjoyed this movie!!

Review: For those of you who believed that the age of swashbuckling heroes disappeared with Errol Flynn and Robert Taylor--watch out--its back, and this time with Antonio Banderas in a classic reprisal of the cunning Californian hero, Zorro. Catherine Zeta-Jones is wonderful as his wild-spirited, dark eyed love interest. This movie is definately a keeper--one worth watching over and over again. Buy the video!

Review: Great acting, sword fighting action, drama, music/sound, cinematography, comedy, suspense. The movie really draws you in and makes you feel you're on an adventure in another land and time. This one is a definite buy! It's a gorgeous film with great sound that is also perfect for showing off your dvd player.

Summary: An Old-Fashion Action Film For Everyone
Review: In a time where action movies are simply built around special effects, its nice to see an action movie that uses the characters to attract an audience. No Dinosaurs, Asteroids, Volcanos, Earthquakes, Twisters, or Bad Corny Writers and Actors. This is an action movie where the characters carry the action. My one complaint is that I don't think the Bad Guys were bad enough. I never felt the two Zorro's were going to lose. The better the bad guy, the better the hero.

Review: This movie sizzles with excitement! The chemistry between Zeta-Jones and Banderas is absolutely mesmerizing! The flamenco dance and the sword fight between the two were enough to keep me enthralled. Anthony Hopkins is at the top of his game as well. A thoroughly enjoyable movie for all! My pick for favorite movie of 1998, and the only gift I asked for for Christmas was this video!

Summary: This movie has everything but...
Review: It has a great look to it and a great storyline. Fantastic swordplay, adventure, romance and one really lacking dance scene. What was with the obvious doubles?Not to put down Antonio but I think this film needed someone else in the starring role. Adrian Paul of Highlander the series is more qualified to play Zorro's (Anthony Hopkins') apprentice. He trained with sword master Bob Anderson on the Highlander set and also has more than ten years of dancing experience. Anyone who has seen flash backs on Highlander the series can see that the part of Alajhandro was made for Adrian Paul. However I do recomend this film. It has a fantastic feel to it. Beautiful costumes, breathtaking shooting locations and over all enthralling storyline.

Review: I haven't even seen it yet !! Can't wait. I know I am going to enjoy it and have been waiting for Catherine Zeta Jones to make her come back for a few years. What a wonderfully beautiful and talented actress she is, a sphynx who has risen from the ashes to spit in the face of her critics. Banderas is perfect for the role, and I concur with another reviewer that any role that Anthony Hopkins takes on, he does brilliantly.

Review: I've been a Zorro fan for years now, and was so excited about the release of this movie, with Antonio Banderas as the masked man himself. (Who, I hear, is the first Spanish Zorro ever.) It's full of action, romance, and comedy. You'll love it! :)
