Summary: Oh, boy! I'm Impressed!
Review: I watched the movie on Saturday in a theater here in Drammen. Today is Thursday - and I just cannot get the movie out of my head. The story line is captivating, you get a nagging "what if this was true" in your head. The special effects on The Matrix are state of the art and extremely impressive! I am an F/X buff, so this element does NOT pull down the overall impression of the movie either...

Summary: Can it get any worse?
Review: It's something scrumbled together from MIB, Jackie Chan, Blues Brother and Terminator, in my opinion it's not very creative. Keanu Reeves as the chosen one, absolutely ridiculous. He should better apply for 90210!!

Summary: Style over content.
Review: If you enjoy overacting, hopeless plot development, and whatcan be best described as a 'two hour rock video' then leave thisturkey well alone. It is utterly pathetic, a desperate attempt to make money (which it did) by having flashy effects and graphics. Did some one say action? well how about following that up with 'John Woo'. Effects mean nothing. Plot and direction is everything. This film tried, it tried hard. A for effort, F for film. Film making has reached new levels of idiocy.

Summary: A Surprise Hit! Well worth adding to the home collection.
Review: My roommate saw this movie several times and told me I should see it. I had absolutely no interest in seeing it but he dragged me to the theater one day after convincing me that it would be a minor loss at the student discount rate in case I didn't like it. Boy was I surprised! Great story that makes you really think about life, spectacular special effects, superb casting. I am excited to be getting my DVD copy when it is released.

Summary: No film is better suited for the DVD format than this one.
Review: Althought the Editor/Actor commentary lags somewhat, the rest of the disk is top-of the line and has features programmed on it that no one has seen or done before.

Summary: Best movie of 1999
Review: Great Effects, good acting, superb plot, and an inspired musical score add up to making "The Matrix" the best movie of 1999. I can't wait for my copy to arrive!

Summary: Excellent take on "Reality"
Review: I loved this movie. I went out and bought the soundtrack the next day. It's a must-have for anyone interested in "reality." Although I could have done without Keanu Reeves saying, "woah."

Summary: Multi-Genre Film Succeeds On Many Levels
Review: Stunning special effects edited seamlessly with an edgy soundtrack, edge-of-your-seat action scenes, and a sci-fi plot that intrigues and catches you off-guard make this a must have for any action/sci-fi collection. The Matrix keeps the plot twists and suspense building throughout the movie. Some of the hottest action scenes combine Hong Kong style fist-flying action with the latest camera and digital special effects and incorporate Marilyn Manson, Rammstein, and Ministry tracks to enhance the experience. You won't be disappointed.

Review: Watching this movie will alter the way you feel about reality. It has to be THE best movie and written senario ever made in the history of movies. Difinite keeper. I would buy 2 copies just in case ;-)
