Summary: Can't we all just get along?
Review: It wasn't until the 3rd time I walked out of the theater after seeing this movie that i truly appreciated it. The first time, i was overwhelmed by the special effects, not unlike a kid in a candy store. I completely missed the point of the movie, and more importantly, I didn't care. I thought I was going to wet my pants. The second time, all I could focus on was how truly and utterly pitiful Keanu Reeves is as an actor. The movie would have been much better had he no speaking parts at all. The third time, I loved it. I sat back, let the FX float over me like a cool breeze, and soaked in the essence of the film. This movie was about freedom, and it may be a little sad that the 'moral' of the story had to be put into such a marketable and fashionable body, but at least people payed attention. This film did what I think directors dream about. It made me think, it made me question, and most of all, it made me happy...happy to be alive, happy to be human, and happy that it was eventually going to come out on video. :)

Summary: WOW! Real life Anime!!
Review: As a guru of new technology in film making and an avid anime fan, I was thrilled to (finally) see the techniques which have drawn me and millions of others like me to anime brought to play in a live action film. It was masterfully done, and for that I highly recommend this film to all who appreciate the true art forms of anime and sci-fi films. I will be watching this film again and again. I hope this trend continues in the live action film genre. Brillant work.

Summary: Instant Classic
Review: For years I've been wondering what happened to originality in sci fi movies. Since Blade Runner and the original Terminator, both early 1980's, nothing has come close to sparking the imagination like those two. Event Horizon tried but fell short. BUT NOW.... All hail the new king! The Matrix just blew me away. I went back the next day just to make sure I didn't dream it was that good. It may not be for everyone, but those that appreciate it know what it will mean to the future of the genre.

Summary: techno-savvy movie with a great cast-save one.
Review: The matrix was an extremely entertaining film. The key was this for me: In todays motion picture industry, it seems that George Lucas's ILM can make anything appear before our eyes, but in the Matrix-the effects actually seem original and groundbreaking. The plot was not as good as Reeves's "The Devil Advocate" but was certainly above average for a film of this genre. I give it four stars, with a recommendation to anyone except those rediculous nitpicky reviewers that compare everything to the best movies in history.

Summary: MTV Generation's "A Clock Work Orange"
Review: Great plot for a Keanu Reeves movie. The fight scenes remind me of the first time I ever saw a Bruce Lee movie, I was blown away. Unfortunately the writers tried to wrap the movie up with a fairy tale ending which was a bit of a disappointment, you'll see what I mean. Hint: *KISS* Overall a non-stop action flick with enough testosterone to make you want to pump iron after the movie.

Summary: Indeed The Matrix has to be the best movie of the 1990's
Review: I was totally entralled by by this spectacular movie and I saw it at least five times in the theater and personnally can not wait for my DVD to arrive (as a matter of fact a DVD player is being purchased for the purpose of watching this movie, although I am sure that there will plenty of use for this new entertainment appliance). What can I say but do not wait but RUSH and buy your copy today!

Summary: The best movies ever made!
Review: This movie was absolutely, totally, 100% perfect in ever single way! I'm not even going to make an effort to explain it all, its just not worth trying! The FX were... there is no word to describe them! I know that once it comes on tape I will watch the entire movie beginning to end for as long as I live! When it comes on tv, I'm going to tape the movie, and then I'm going to retape it with all the action sequences! There is no replcing this! If you want to become a film director, writer, whatever, see this movie! You won't be sorry!

Summary: This Movie Kicks Serious Tail
Review: The Matrix blows every other movie away in so many aspects, it is incredible. And to top it all off, the movie is actually making fun of every movie ever made. In the subway fight scene when Agent Smith and Neo jump at each other, the movie is actually mocking the Japanese Samurai movies that have the exact same fight moves. Ingenious!

Summary: SMASHES STAR WARS!!!!
Review: While I think people are reading a bit too much into all the "symbolism" in this film, I can't deny that it was extremely entertaining, visually stunning, and far and away the best film i've seen all year. Remember the shootout with the SWAT team, with all the marble breaking and dozens of shells falling to the floor??? wasn't that awesome???
