Review: Saw it on the big screen and have ordered the dvd. It is a mind-blowing thrill ride into a world that is not so far-fetched from reality given the technologies today and in the near future. It exudes intelligence, doesn't tease or ridicule and allows you to get away from life as you know it for a couple of hours. Special effects are the best I have ever seen. A well put together cast and story. A must see for any adult..."gamers" will walk away twitching and have bad dreams for a month! Summary: Better than Star Wars
Review: This movie is the the coolest idea since the first Star Wars movie. Every penny spent on special effects was well worth it. I'm not much of a Keanu Reeves fan, but he was excellent in this role. I heard a lot of people complain about the ending and I would just like to tell those people that it is a trilogy. By trilogy I mean 3, this is only the first installment of this captivating and intense cinematic experience. See it, you won't be disappointed.

Overall, The Matrix is a top-notch action flick with a thread of deep thought binding the plot together.

Review: Talk about copycats! This movie has no ORIGINALITY! Its like stealing and combining Terminator 2, Japanamation, and John Woo movies all into one! The "Bullet Time" sequence is the only scene worth mentioning. Just because it has a ton of cool FX doesn't make it a good movie at all! The Wachowski Brothers need to think of something creative instead of BITING nips and pieces of other people's ideas!
