Review: This movie caught me by surprise when I first saw it. I was not expecting it to be as good as it is. It is the best flick of '99 by far. It is MUCH better than phantom menace (unless you are around 12 years old)

Review: The action is furious with great Dolby Digital surround. The story is clever and the special effects are second to none. It is eye candy with a story. I haven't enjoyed a video like the Matrix in a while and I've seen a few in the last six months. You won't be disappointed.

Review: This movie is too good to be true. Finally, Hollywood comes out with a movie that has great actors, awesome plot, suspense out the wazoo, and the most incredible special effects. You had better go to the bathroom before the movie starts becuase you will not want to get up at ALL. And when the last hour of the movie comes around, prepare yourself...hoo boy. This is THE ride.

Summary: The thinking man's best choice for action entertainment
Review: The Matrix does on thing better than any movie I've ever seen: It never leaves any parts open for you to become bored and stare at the wall until the next interesting scene comes along. At one point action-oriented movies were my life, yet later on i found a new reason to watch films. My interest turned to drama and light comedy, where i discovered many good films. I had yet to see, though, a movie that perfectly blended so many aspects that make movies entertaining into one feature-length film. The Matrix is pure genius, of a kind that cannot be achieved by accident. Superb, excellent, outstanding fun.

Summary: AWESOME CYBERPUNK MOVIE!
Review: Keanu started the cyberpunk movie scene when he starred in Johnny Mnemonic (regardless of how bad that movie was)...but with The Matrix, he has redeemed himself and the genre. The movie totally blew me away (i had misconceptions about Reeves ability) but his acting was good and the story was excellent.I have heard rumors of making The Matrix into a Trilogy...supposedly the makers have already signed Keanu to the sequels.
