Summary: Won't play in some players (including mine)
Review: I saw the matrix at the theater and thought it was one of the best SF movies I had seen. I was overjoyed when I found out it was coming out on dvd. I went and bought it the day that it came out, took it home and poppedit ininto my player. It will not load up. After exchanging it twice I gave up. it seems that a lot of people have been experincing the same problems. I have a ge player and have heard of troubles with it on samsung, pioneer, and some sony players also. Check out the web for any troubles with your player before buying it.

Summary: Great movie--Great documentary
Review: I rented this DVD yesterday and it was so good I watched it twice. The making of The Matrix documentary was worth the rental cost by itself. I bought the DVD earlier today and can't wait to try the White Rabbit feature in which if a white rabbit appears on the screen you can watch how the effect was done. The commentary should be fun also. I love DVD and its extras. And this movie uses them to their best.

Review: Great movie.....damn good...just not much else to say. Probably the best sci-fi movie I've seen since Star Wars. Any movie that can make Keanu Reeves look cool is worth seeing.( sorry Keanu )

Summary: DVD PROBLEM
Review: For all those that can't run The Matrix on their DVD they need to notify the manufacturer. Warner Bros has put out a DVD that is incompatable with some players. Namely Samsung and Pioneer

Summary: Matrix DVD doesn't work on all players
Review: It appears this disk will not work on all players. Although there is no official word from Warner yet (9/23), DVD Express is making a list of players that will not load this disk. I fully expect Warner will have a new version of this disk, if they ever want my business again...By the way, the movie is top notch and a definite "must see". I have been awaiting this release for some time. It seems I will need a bit more patience.

Summary: Best film ever made!!
Review: I think that the effects in the Matrix are the best that I've seen in any film and the concept of the Agents creating a world to live in so that the real world (a barren, ruined World) is hidden and the humans think that everything is ok. The best bit of the whole film is when Trinity and Neo go to the Agent's Headquarters to rescue Morpheus, just having made a visit to Guns 'R us.

Review: If you have a dvd player and you don't own the matrix, you might as well give your dvd player away. The WOW factor in this movie is non-stop, with great special and sound effects, and a smart script, there's no way you can go wrong by buying this movie.
