Review: I recieved the DVD, I tried to play it on 6 different players and it did not work at all. Reason why I give 2 stars is because of the customer service I recieved when I called, right away they were able to next day the movie to me and it accually works!

Summary: A brilliant masterpiece, something for everybody
Review: I have never before seen a film that combines so well the best features of every cinematographic genre. Character development, plot twists, intense action, love, more intense action, fantastic special effects, intellectual concepts, biblical references, literary references, etc. I have made it my sole goal in life to make the directors wealthy by seeing it 4 times in the theater and buying DVDs as Christmas presents. Even for my grandmother!

Review: This movie was an excellent sci-fi picture. It may be too much for children under 13, however it was clever, and well put together. As a viewer you can definately related it to other movies as well as biblical stories. It is unpredictable, leaves room for imagination, and the digit-timing effects are awesome. This is a great flick! Star Wars put me to sleep, this didn't. Must see it if you love sci-fi.

Summary: sorry about the violence
Review: The Matrix is one tough film and it had the foundation (Act 1 and 2 )to blow you away. However Act 3 falls short with the same old solutions of violence and fear. "Dark City" takes us to another level and Matrix could have gone to another level far beyond but did not. I look forward to seeing more from the minds of these directors. It is a great film and they will only get better.

Review: Do you want a movie that has it all? Action, music, and a small love story is what The Matrix "has to offer." This has to be one of the greatest movies of the millenium. Review: I too was anxious to get this DVD release. Very good story line with outstanding visual effects, so I pre-ordered and waited with much anticipation. From the very beginning, I was stunned at the poor quality transfer to DVD. Grainy darks, and washed out colors left me feeling cheated. The Dolby Digital 5.1 was exceptional and is of reference quality. Oh well, it's still a good buy....Bring on "The Mummy"... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
