Review: every ten years or so a great movie comes along, this one it's THE ONE of the decade. I have seen it 5 times already and I'm not finish yet, the only bad thing about it: it has to finish !! to all of those who did not like: stop smoking that thing is killing your braincells!!

Summary: GREAT TOP-NOTCH BLOCKBUSTER!!
Review: I have seen this movie at least 6 times in the movie theatre. Absolutely the best movie I have ever seen! Think about the originality around the story, and the all around in-your-face explosive special effects. Keanu and Lawrence were absolutely spectacular in this movie. Carrie Anne-Moss(Trinity)definately got alot of viewers attention by making her true debut appearance.(Can you say Cha-Ching!) This is one of those movies that you cannot see just once and that makes you think....What if? On a sad note,I bought a DVD player especially for this movie , and the Matrix did not play on my player. Warner Bros. should have made sure this would not have happened considering this might be the biggest selling DVD so far. 10 for the movie! 0 for Warner Bros. sloppy actions.

Summary: Spectacular Action & Special Effects
Review: The Matrix took my breath away with superb slow-motion and fluid "Japanimation" action sequences. The Dolby Digital 5.1 sound is the best I've heard on any DVD, period. This is the DVD you pull out when you want to demo your home theater system or if you want to sit mesmerized with a great story that brims with spiritual overtones. Clean storyline with no sex or foul language although there are lots of very realistic and superbly choreographed hand to hand fighting and combat sequences. This is a must for all action movie lovers that want a solid all-around movie. The only complaint I have is regarding a green tint to the video (the rumor is that it's an aftereffect of scaling down from the 16:9 encoded picture although not everyone I've heard from has noticed this green tint - adjusting the tv tinting to full red helps greatly). Still a full 5 star thumbs up movie that you will definitely enjoy.

Review: I am tired of sci fi that borrows heavily from Blade Runner (gothic sets), Men in Black (more dark glasses), and Superman (shiny leather-clad femme fatale).I was disappointed. The biblical references are arrogant and obvious (trinity, zion, etc).

Review: The Matrix is without a doubt the best action movie of the year. The innovative special effects and well-written storyline draw you in from the moment the movie begins. This outstanding film will make you want to show it to all your friends.

Review: Its a great movie which keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. The special effects are great and is great with surround sound. It is a great all round movie which is superbly made and directed. I recommend it to the Sci-Fi lover and/or the action lover.

Review: This movie blows away any movie I had previously seen in a theatre about action. The graphics were the bomb and the acting was sweet. It's one of those movies where after seeing it, you just sit down and think. "WOW! That was a great movie."

Summary: This DVD Breaks many many DVD Players
Review: The Matrix DVD has problems playing on many DVD Players. Alot of PC DVD players don't work at all. Many Home DVD players have severe problems. Mine doesn't work at all with this DVD.

Review: Finally! An action movie with a believable story! The sounds, the effects, the kung-fu and shoot out scenes, and of course, the bullet-time effects make this one a winner! This movie will definately make you think differently about the "real" world. What if our world really was a hoax? This film answers that question very well! A must have for any sci-fi and or action enthusiast!

Review: I saw it three times, and now MUST!!! add it to my collection of THE ALL TIME GREATEST movies ever made. The Matrix was thought provoking (understatement)and entertaining to the ultimate extreme (pulling this off was pure genius.) It was Sci Fi at it's VERY, VERY, VERY BEST!!!
