Review: Unfortunately, the dialog and video are out of sync on my Pioneer DVD500 player. What a disappointment. And the hassle of trying to exchange with no guarantee of a properly working copy. This is the first DVD problem I have ever experienced and it had to be on this movie. What a shame.

Review: "The Matrix" is one of the most dazzling and spectacular films ever made! It never slows down and has a fantastic visual style few films have shown this season. The screenplay serves only as a base for the action sequences. In fact, you could say that the only reason there is a script, is so the action scenes can make sense. But "The Matrix" manages to keep afloat an interesting plot and still present some stylish, breathtaking action scenes. "The Matrix" is the type of film you can watch without having to pay attention to the story. I had total, complete fun during this movie from beginning to end. This is a groundbreaking work in special effects. Like "Spawn," "The Matrix" can best be seen as an experimental art film. It's also quite original and has some strange yet interesting characters. This is a masterpiece in visual filmmaking.

Review: When I first saw the mini-trailers shown in t.v. advertisements, I was afraid of a "Johnny Mnemonic" repeat for Keanu Reeves (sorry!). Boy, was I wrong. This is now one of my favorite movies--I saw it three times in the theater and plan to see it at least another four to five times once it comes out on VHS.It's basically great eye-candy, mind-bending, and deep. A nice take on an age-old question. Additionally, I haven't seen such a successful blending of action and romance since "True Romance." Also, it was extremely refreshing to see a strong female lead. The character Trinity reminds me of ones in "La Femme Nikita" and "The Long Kiss Goodnight." Thank you! FYI, re viewer's comment from Sept. 21: Reeves is Eurasian, specifically, half-English and half Chinese-Hawaiian (not "white").

Review: This is the movie of my life. I watched it 10 times and i am not finished. This is the best movie that has ever come out in the history of hollywood.I am really suprised that Keaunu Reeves can play so good. Bravo to Lawrence Fishborne. Bravo to the director who made this movie #1.

Neo wanted to find out what the Matrix was.One night he had fallen asleep and then his computer said follow the white rabbit and then it said ring and the door bell rang at the exact momment.So then he sold a computer chip then the guy said come with us to a party he said no then he saw a girl with a tatoo of a white rabbit on her back. So he went to the party and he met a lady that knew about the matrix.To know about the rest of the movie you'll have to rent it.This is probably one of the best movies I've ever seen.
