Summary: Absolutely awesome - stunning audio visual - oh yeah, GUNS!
Review: As a PC owner Living in the UK - the availability of this film through Amazon was three months early! The cinema experience of the film was superb and DVD also delivers - the visuals don't lose anything in the transition to small screen. 'Pure blood' martial arts fans will pick holes in the fight sequences - but as a student - I think the actors perform extremely well. The action sequences rock - the budget for blank ammunition must account for a huge amount of the overall cost of the film...... The soundtrack is awesome also - it will appeal to classical and techno fans alike..however the purists might grit their teeth at the other group...

Review: This movie is not for those who can't imagine beyond their own small reality. An open-mind will sore with this movie. The artistic eye, the attention to detail, the creative settings, the constant mental stimulation make this movie a catalyst for our inner-thoughts. One of the best movies of all time!

Review: Definitely one of the best sci-fi thrillers of the millenium. The spine tingling plot of The Matrix revolves around what could be a not so far (if not present) reality for mankind. Filled with awesome action and uncompared martial arts scenes, it is without a doubt one of the most "down to earth" and well elaborated films of this century.

Summary: Best Sci-Fi in a decade!
Review: And I thought that the big science fiction hit this year would be "Star Wars" - Guess again! When this movie came out, I expected a vaguely interesting 2 hours that would tide me over til Episode 1 came out. What I got was probably the single best science fiction movie I have seen in quite a few years - this decade anyway. Definitely a must rent-buy-see movie!

Summary: Wait a minute!!
Review: Don't buy this video yet! I saw Matrix several times in the theater and loved it but...IT IS NOT THE SAME ON VHS!! Even with a good TV and Dolby surround, much of the power and intensity of the movie is lost on the small (not letterboxed) screen. Check this out at your local $1 theater or buy the DVD.

Summary: Difficult to explain, incredible Special Effects!
Review: This is the 1st in a new breed of computer assisted movies. The special effects are unlike any ever seen to date on film. The extra "Making of the film" commentary from HBO provides the background which details the committment of the cast and crew in getting ready for this film. Absolutely stunning cinematography!

Summary: Thrilling and breath-taking
Review: I was lucky enough to get this movie before the official release and I think that it was worth every cent that I paid for it. It is absolutely brilliant in every way. The picture quality is above perfect as is the sound. It is a great story which requires a touch of thought first time round but I recommend it to anyone with an imagination. It's better that brilliant and an absolute must for any Sci-Fi fundi.
