Rating: Summary: DIE HARD IS THE ACTION MOVIE OF ALL ACTION MOVIES! Review: Die Hard, which launched the career of Bruce Willis is also one of the most influential action movies ever made. Its on my classic movie list! Die Hard is about NYC cop Lt. John McClane(Willis). He is visting his wife Holly on Christmas eve. She lives and works out in L.A. and the two are having some problems. Anyways while visting her at her work, the Nakatomi Tower a group of terrorits take over the tower, holding the 30 or so workers there hostage. McClane isn't taken bu the hostages and sneaks around throughout the rest of the movie to try and stop the terrorits. Other cast memebers include Bonnie Bedalia as Holly Genaro/McClane, Reginald Veljohnson as an L.A. cop who makes contact with McClane, and a superb performance by Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber the head terrorist. This is what action movies are made of! The trilogy is worth buying! Followed by Die Hard 2:Die Harder and Die Hard With A Vengence. I reccomend both. Rated R for violence and profanity.

Rating: Summary: A spectacular movie to begin the classic trilogy Review: In my opinion the Die Hard trilogy couldn't have started with a much better movie than this one. "Die Hard" isn't my favorite Die Hard movie, but it is a great one. Detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) tries to match wits with some tough terrorists who are holding about 30 people including John's wife (Bonnie Bedelia), as hostages inside a Los Angeles skyscraper. John McClane has to figure out a way to dodge the terrorists and save the hostages."Die Hard" is one of the best action movies of the late 80s and even though it might not get credit for it, I think it was a revolutionary movie in many ways. It influenced many of the great action movies that were to come in later years. If you like action packed and great action movies, I recommend getting "Die Hard."
Rating: Summary: A Fantastic Movie! Review: This is without question one of the better movies that I have seen in quiet some time. This film has it all. A quality hero,an evil villain, great backup actors and actresses, excellent special effects, and plenty of action. A New York policeman is in Los Angeles to visit his estranged wife. He goes to her company Christmas party with her and the building is seized by armed foriegn terrorists. They are attempting to steal bonds to finance their operations. They run into staunch resistance from Willis. Through his knowhow of self defense and the street he takes a heavy toll. Despite the stupidity of the local police forces he is still able to prevail. This movie has an outstanding plot and many action sequences. This is one of the better action(police) movies that you will see. Don't miss this one.
Rating: Summary: Easily one of the best movies ever made! Review: When this movie first came out, it was the one who redefined the word "blockbuster" for the 80's movies. Willis was shot to stardom after this action-packed turn that allowed him to use his trademark smirk and cocky attitude to the fullest extent. Some of the greatest action sequences on film are in this movie (including the infamous "jump from the roof with a firehouse around him" shot that you see in all the trailers for it). You will watch this again and again, as all characters are fairly solid, and Rickman's villian is absolutely the most suave bad guy you'll ever see. The second one was as good as this one, but the third in the trilogy just went too far and lost the essence of the first two.
Rating: Summary: Come out to the Coast We'll get together have a few laughs Review: Die Hard in my opinion one of the best Action films of the 80's maybe ever. Bruce Willis is great and this movie made him a star. He plays John McClane a NY cop who is visiting his family in California and has to save his wife from high class thiefs. Alen Rickman plays the main bad guy and does it well. A lot of action special effects and humor, a movie worth watching. I highly recommened this movie.
Rating: Summary: CLASSIC ACTION-THRILLER Review: A powerful, action movie which keeps you in suspense throughout! Bruce Willis plays a cop who battles with terroists who have taken over the building where his wife and children are. The visual effects are stunning, dialogue fast and very sharp and as always a great, beleavable performance from Bruce Willis. Amongst the rest of the cast include bonnie Bedelia, Reginald Veljohnson, Alan Rickman and Paul Gleason. One of the best action movies i've seen. A definite classic! Highly recommended!!!!!
