Summary: If only I could have my money back...
Review: 30 minutes into The Matrix I no longer cared if any characters lived or died. If all you want is action and shooting, then this is your movie. Otherwise, you'll find mindless violence, forgetable characters, mediocre acting and dialogue that contains only one memorable line (when Reaves' character is described as 'good looking, but not too smart').At the end of this movie, I felt robbed. Please don't allow yourself to be stuck up too...just say no to The Matrix.

Review: A change for once. Spotted two mistakes in the movie (makes you wonder how many times I've seen it). I really love the concept, fashion and music of this movie. But they can cut the flying crap at the end. Can't wait for the sequel.

Summary: NOTHING SHORT OF AN AMAZING MOVIE
Review: A COMPUTER HACKER [KEANU REEVES] FINDS OUT ABOUT AN ALTERNATE REALITY. VERY VERY ENTERTAINING FILM. FILLED WITH EXPLOSIVE SPECIAL EFFECTS AND FILLED WITH EVEN BETTER FIGHT SCENES. THE ONLY THING THAT REALLY HURTED THIS MEGAHIT WAS THE FACT THAT IT WAS SIMPLY TOO LONG. BUT, DESPITE ALL THAT, THIS STILL TURNED OUT TO BE A REALLY GOOD MOVIE. FOLLOWED BY TWO SEQUELS, THE 2ND OF WHICH IS GONNA BE RELEASED NEXT MONTH.

Summary: A fantastic start....and a dumb old hollywood finish...
Review: A fantastic premise degenerates into a impossibly crazed shoot em up. I found it a fun movie that almost touched on some poingant theories about human existance, but then decided it wanted to be about blowing stuff up. I will say that the fight coreography is up there with Ping's best work in Hong Kong...thought often a blatant ripoff of that same work. No problem though, most of us haven't seen it! Worth a rental, and for folks who want to show off how loud thier sub-woofer can go, worth a purchase.

Review: A film that keeps your heart beating. If you are a guy your heart beats for Trinity... if you are a girl, your heart beats for Neo.... if you are a regular viewer, your heart beats for all of them. This film introduces a new type of special effects and they sure give you an adrenalin bust.

Summary: What is the Matrix?
Review: A fresh, new, innovating movie, which has set new standards for Y2K cinema. And you discover new things every time you see it again. But after a while you've seen it too much, anaylized it till it's last line and the introducing scenes get old... Actually the whole movie gets old after seeing it too much. But it's still great. Keanu Reeves made a great comeback and Laurence Fishburn is just magnificent as Morpheus. His voice is much kewler than Darth Vader's. The DVD is quite good. The movie presentation is high above average. The sound is excellent, boasting DD 5.1's capabilities. The extra's are quite good. Except for the commentary track. It's too boring and turns quiet frequently. What happened to Carrie-Ann Moss? You shouldn't pass on this disc. But considering the sales rank, I suppose you already haven't.

Summary: A movie for little boys
Review: A friend invited me over to watch the Matrix on his VCR. A pity, for then I could not leave in the middle, as I would have if I were in the theater. It's a young male fantasy movie ... and we have so, so many of these around. Boring and repellant.
