Summary: The best dvd movie I own.
Review: By far, this is the best DVD movie I own. The video and sound effects are as good as it gets. The story is packed with little hints and suggestions as to what is happening. I'm still picking things up after the fifth time I've watched the movie. To own a dvd means that you will be watching it many times, and finding something new in the story each time keeps this movie top choice when selecting from my own library. The movie is also cheaper than most other DVD's, which I can't figure out. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Review: Came out during the same time " The Phantom Menace" came out but that one was ok but this is far superior in many ways. The plot deals with " Neo" ( Keanu Reeves) who is a nobody worker that gets involved with a Cybersystem called " The Matrix", he is now in the trap. Truely Outstanding!!! a masterpiece that you must own on DVD.Recommendations: The Fifth Element, Total Recall, Starship Troopers, Robocop, Star Wars, Blade Runner, Metropolis, Dark City, Ghost in the Shell and Con Air.

Review: Can't decide whether to buy a DVD player or keep on watching VHS? Here's the reason. If you don't like the story line, the effects will blow you away. And with VHS, you don't get to see how they were done - on DVD, you get the "making of" material.

Review: Carried by the strong performances of Lawrence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss, as well as the technically innovative and artistically brilliant special effects, the Matrix is by far the best film of 1999. Great supporting performances by Joe Pantoliano as the sarcastic defector and Hugo Weaving as the over-enunciating Agent Smith counterbalance Keanu Reeves lack of any personality. If you see one film this year, see the Matrix.

Summary: Perhaps the most influential (best?) film of the year
Review: Certaily the best sci-fi film of the year. Easily Accessable to non-sci fi fans as well. Neat underlying themes: "There is a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path". Great religious undertones and faith exploration. Thought provocing evolutionary themes: Man vs. Computer. Hugely entertaining! Great action and awesome special effects. Cinematograpghy was fantastic. Notice the color differentiation in the different worlds. Pokes at our natural curiousity for the truth. What is the Matrix? Perhaps the best and easily most fun film of the year.

Summary: 'Dis Movie was 'Da BOMB!
Review: Check It! This movie was great. The whole "are we just pawns in a giant chess game of life" concept blew my mind. The special effects, the format, the movie in general and the actors did a great job.
