Summary: A truly mind boggling experience.
Review: This was one of those movies that you had to watch more then once. The first time I just watched the movie for its special effects and its amazing action sequences. The second(and each subsequent viewing) I watched it to abosorb the story and the philosophical aspects of the movie. Not only did this movie provide eye popping special effects, it provided a very digestable plot set in the not so far future. Keeanu Reeves was perfectly cast in this movie because his character never seems to know what is going on(just like Keeanu Reeves). I think Keeanu Reeves says it best: "Whoa!"

Review: This was probably the best movie I've seen in a long time. It gets weird at parts, but its perfectly understandable. The special effects are amazing and the sound is great! I can't wait to see the sequels.

Summary: Best is yet to come
Review: This was probably the best movie of 1999. It's whole look and feel was so amazing. By combining Hong Kong style martial arts action and a Hollywood budget, the Wachowski brothers delivered an awesome movie. I've always thought that Hong Kong movies needed that Hollywood touch and that a lot of Hollywood action movies needed that Hong Kong style, well, it's happened with the Matrix. I'm not bothered by Keanu like a lot of people, I thought he was great as Neo and seeing him and Fishburne actually do martial arts was just awesome. I thought they were going to substitute other people for those scenes but it was actually those actors. I feel sorry for the people who didn't like this film, for those of us who did, man, we were treated to an awesome movie that made us go "Daaaaaam, did you see that! ". And with Jet Li set to join up for the sequels, things are looking up. So all you who didn't like matrix, just get lost and don't bother us fans.

Summary: Unfortunately, noone can be told that "The Matrix" sucks.
Review: This was simply the greatest movie ever made. The grapic design was superb, the casting was flawless, the gratuitus violence was well choreographed, and the music was a great back ground to the scenes, bothe fighting and common. The word inflections were wonderful, and the story was immencely original. Some of the catch phrases will stand out forever in your mind. Warning however, this is NOT a film for those who do not like wierd, sci-fi, and fighting stuff. I'm an expert on movies and I say it is all good.

Summary: A disturbing but entertaining must-see for all sci-fi fans!
Review: This was the best movie I've seen all year. Period. Keanu Reeves, who I'm not a real fan of, plays the part of Neo perfectly. His slow-to-catch on, reluctant hero type couldn't have been played better by anyone else. The rest of the cast is great especially Laurence Fishburne. But the real reason the movie works is the story and the fx. The story, like the Terminator movies, is disturbing because it's not that far-fetched from what the future could be when artificial intelligence surpasses human intellect and reasoning. And the special fx are just that "special". It was a treat to see this on the big screen and I can't wait to get it on DVD.

Review: This was the BEST movie. I must have seen it 3 times in the theaters and about 12 times on DVD. They wear vinyl through the whole thing, you can't go wrong. And they are just so cool! Anyway, I loved it, everyone I know loves it, and I know you'll love it too. Yeah black vinyl!

Review: This was the coolest movie I ever saw! I went to see it twice and I kept thinking about it for days. Everyone who has sent in their review have summed it up. What more is there to say. If you haven't seen it yet, DO SO!!! You won't be disappointed. The cast was so great. I saw `the making of'and I was impressed at what the actors had to do. Training for weeks at an end. Very impressive indeed. I can't wait for the 21st of september for the DVD to come out. One more buyer for sure! If you are going to see it... enjoy!!! I now I have.

Review: This was the first DVD I bought when I got a DVD player, and this should have been the first DVD that you purchased, but then why are you reading this review.Keanu Reeves is a tough actor to evaluate. On the one hand, he plays the EXACT same character in every movie he's been in since Bill and Ted. His new "buff" persona carries him well through all these films, though. The only place I was horrified to see him was in "Much Ado About Nothing," but even then, the type of character Shakespeare created called for someone as wooden and shallow as the one he played (Don John). Keanu is the only person that could have done this role in the Matrix. He just looks cool all the time (and he's Lebanese). I've discussed this with my friends a hundred times, and we have yet to come up with an actor that could have pulled it off like Keanu does here. I'm not even going to bother talking about the plot of the movie. There has been so much buzz surrounding the film that you should have it memorized without even seeing the film. Just save yourself the trouble of pondering whether or not to buy this film. You'll love it. Instead, spend time pondering whether or not Keanu is a good actor or not. That will boggle the mind.
