Summary: Great Action movie, and now a classic
Review: This is a great action movie, mainly because (just like the rest of the series) it never gets mean spirited. It's mainly good guys and bad guys shooting at each other without anyone else ever getting in the way. Riggs is a person who you really feel sorry for, but he has a great sense of humour at the same time. The only downer in this movie is that they work out the conspiracy way too quickly, but that doesn't let it down much.

Review: Let's face it. The plot is poor. It is typical TV police partner drama stuff. Starsky and Hutch all the way. However, Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are shining stars in this otherwise dull sky. It is not just their superb acting ability, but the chemistry between the two that made this movie so successful. The two are brilliant together, being even better than the sum of the parts. They took a barely mediocre movie and made it a gem. I would bet my DVD collection that if it had been any body else in the roles of Riggs and Murtaugh, this movie would not have even spawned one sequel, much less three.

Review: The one thing I like most about the Lethal Weapon series is that the sequals are actually better than the first one. With the second one being my personal favorite. Richard Donner must be proud of his work because (unlike other directors) he directs the sequals. And I think that's why it's such a great movie series. I mean, if some one else had done Lethal Weapon 2(or any other LW)it probably wouldn't have been as successful.

Review: This movie is terrific. It's origional. It's simply the best action movie there is! The drug plot is perfect and realistic. Most of the things in the film are connected throught Vietnam. Riggs and murtaugh were in Vietnam. Shadow Company was in Vietnam. The action scenes are well mastered. the camra work is excellent. Mel Gibson's acting is perfect. (Especially when he tries to take his life in his trailer) The movie is great!! Who ever wathces this movie is in for a treat!!!!!

Review: I have never seen a better reason to buy a directors cut. The movie is a lot more seamless. Anyone who liked the original will be glad to see more of background to Riggs and Murtough.
