Review: As I looked at this DVD, I knew instanly that this was a good sign. For an entire year I wished that I had it. And then I finally got it. All three movies look 10 times better than the video tapes and the bonus feature DVD is absolutly amazing. It was the coolest. I am obsessed with Indiana Jones!!! GO INDY!!!

Review: My favorite movie of all time. Harrison Ford and Sean Connery are great together. This movie's recipe includes a little of everything: two cups of action, a whole clove of adventure, a pinch of mystery and romance, and, of course, humor to taste. A real comfort movie.

Review: Even though the second movie wasn't very good at all, the first and third films were great. Lots of action and sharp humor made them worth more than the price of admission. Pick up the set whenever you can!

Summary: If adventure has a name...
Review: it is three great movies. Okay, bad name for adventure. How about Henry "Indiana" Jones, Jr.?In a return to the early serials of their childhood, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg invented an archeologist/adventurer by the name of Jones. Originally to be played by Tom Selleck, Harrision Ford stepped in when Selleck couldn't get out of doing a TV series (Magnum, PI). Each man ended up with a signature role to call their own. Raiders of the Lost Ark - Where the adventure all began. Ford, along with Karen Allen, try to stop the Nazi regime from finding the Lost Ark of the Covenent. A roller coaster ride from beginning to end. Perhaps the best of the three. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - A prequel which sees Indy team up with a kid and Mrs. Spielberg on another quasi-religious quest. While darker and less satisfyiong than the first, still an excellent film. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - It's Indy against the Nazi horde once again. This time, our hero sets out to save his father (Sean Connery), and find the Holy Grail, literally. They played up the comic elements more in this one, but it was better received than the second installment. All in all, this is one of the best trilogies in movie history. If the rumored fourth film ever manages to make it to screen, this set will probably be replaced in a few years.

Summary: Adventure at it's best!
Review: It is just too hard to say everything that is good with this series. "Indiana Jones" set the bar for action-adventure so very high that action movies couldn't compete until "Die Hard". The key to it's success is harrison Ford, in his star making role. He has the correct mixture of iron man and humorously vulnerable.
The first one, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" is so great, and it has my favoite scene of all the movies, the scene where Jones loses the Ark, then gets it back by comadering a Nazi transport truck. It's a long sequence, but it never feels too long. "Temple of Doom" is also great (of course). The last 45 minutes is one long chase scene, going from human sacrificial alters, frantic chase on a dirt cart rail track in the tunnels, and then a nerve jangling finish on a rope bridge. "Last Crusade" is nothing but a chase movie, as Indiana tries to rescue his father.
This was the best series of movies to come out of the 80s. Buy it and enjoy.

Review: The Indiana Jones movies are some of my favorite movies of all time. They are so fun to watch. If I'm ever bored, I just watch these movies and the adventure takes me away.

Review: I'm not going to say much, but if you like movies that have some gore but mainly action, then this is the mavie for you. I've seen all the Indiana Jones movies, and I'm not going to stop! (That is, if they make more.) This set has: Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, and The Treasure of the Peacock's Eye. BUY IT!!!!!

Review: When my family was stationed over in Germany (i was like 5 years old), but i can remember watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in the movie thaeaters. I've waited so long for this huge trillogy to come out to dvd. I can't wait to see the behind the scenes, and the deleted scenes. I preorder mine, and i will watch it as soon as i open the box.

Summary: Too bad they aren't available individually at this time
Review: Swell. Raiders of the Lost Ark is available at last on DVD. Unfortunately, we have to buy the other two mediocre films along with it. Buying the entire boxed set in order to get ROTLA is like marrying an incredible woman with 2 rancid smelling sisters with persistent (though hopelessly flat & obvious) senses of humor who are always trying to crash on your couch. TOD & TLC are mildly amusing in that terrible but watchable Goonies/Return of the Jedi way, but they certainly are not worth the hero's welcome associated with the marketing campaign. Marion = cool.
Willie = not cool. Only the most forgiving film critic or the most avid completist would bother purchasing TOD & TLC (restored or not) if they were available separately. Hence this boxed set.
