Summary: As good as the best television episodes
Review: Star Trek Insurrection was a real crowd pleaser. It was slightly campy at times but in general the movie compares to the best that the t.v. show had to offer. Special effects were top notch. Sets and acting were outstanding. The story was involving and tight.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Interesting.
Review: It may not be the best...but it is certainly good. The special effects were great, the plot was 'ok' and I just loved it! =Þ

Summary: It was much better then Cat's I will see it again and again.

Summary: Loved it!
Review: Most of my friends said it wasn't as good as some of the other movies in the series (ie, they liked First Contact better), but I loved it! Excellent mix of humor, action, romance, and futuristic technology...something that perhaps they've lacked in past movies and episodes.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Humorous, action filled, light-hearted, filled with effects.
Review: It's a good addition to the venerable Star Trek family of films. Not every film should be about a terrible battle with the borg. It was nice to see love blooming in the stars and humor finding its way back into our heros' hearts.

Summary: not quite movie quality
Review: Insurrection was by far one of the best television episodes, problem is, Insurrection is a movie. The storyline was excellent and the graphics were well thought out (all except for that crazy scene with the joystick...uuuugggtttthhhh!!) The best way to describe this movie is that it would be best for a more diverse audience rather than just trekkies. Perhaps the biggest fault with this movie, and all the STTNG movies, is in the area of character development. Most of the development takes place between only a few people and thus it tends to become seperated from what's going on in the movie and the other characters. Lastly, the producers need to realize that the STTNG show has been a big contributer to the success of Star Trek all together. Instead of trying to come up with huge, granduer plots, the movies should continue to follow the storyline being continued with the current Star Trek shows still being aired. I leave with this question...Why would the flagship of the federation be off chasing petty concerns when the federation is nearly being defeated by the dominion?

Summary: Not of galatic proportions.
Review: The movie was a two hour Star Trek The Next Generation television episode. It was nice getting together with our old friends from NCC-1701-D. Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard) was again exceptional. Please kill off Counselor Troi (What is her reason for being?) Data was also exceptional. Jordi was refreshing as was Riker. I think that guiding the E Model of the Enterprise with a "Joystick" was a bit over the edge (What were they thinking of except maybe for the comic relief?) Overall the Enterprise and her crew are exceptional and I also would like to see Q as the bad boy again. The special effects were not up to Star Trek standards, not even Star Wars standards. I will purchase the video for my collection.

Summary: Good, but not the best
Review: Like most of the StarTreck movies, it was good, but compared to others, the storyline was just a little strange.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Where is the wonder?
Review: Where are the new worlds, strange species and just basically what makes space such an incredible place in the last few trek films? Being a big trek fan I keep asking that and also the "cool" factor in this film, where is it? Trek's new film needs these things and, let me see...ACTION!!! When was the last time you where actually on the edge of your seat with a trek film? Paramount needs to give trek this and although insurrection is a solid entry it still does not really move the average trek fan, and if that is so, the average non-trek fan is left saying; "well at least there is episode one coming out in a few days."

Summary: New Age Trek Fest 99'
Review: Not every day do I catch myself shedding a tear for Star Trek, but I couldn't help it. I bet you know which scene I cried at...it was the scene with Data on the mountain top talking about....breasts?! Of course, I was laughing so HARD I cried, I still did cry. Other than that, this trek adventure was fun. It had something that trek has never really covered though--emotion. When I speak of emotion, I am talking about Picard. I'd never really seen him so...uhhh...what's the word...ahh, mushy. Well anyway, I couldn't help but like the films goffiness. The team over at Trek studios worked real hard for this one and they failed...but still this trek does have one good thing to say for itself. It is the BEST of the worst! That truly is something, now isn't it.
