Summary: Insurrection Rocks
Review: When i first saw this movie i was wowed by how good the movie was. Insurrection is about a race called the Ba'ku living on a planet that keeps their psychical appearence never age.But then some aliens want to remove them so it's up to the crew of the enterprise to stop them. I really the nature of this movie it had a snappy pace to it and the action scenes are excellent but to few for my taste. and it never got to mushy or sentimental . All the performances are good but mainly F. Murray Abraham who is awsome as Ru'afo. and the visual effects are almost state of the art. and the music from The legendary Jerry Goldsmith has made a collection of scores that are excellent. and better than others although James Horner was good but goldsmith always better when it somes to star trek movies. i hope that the 10th feature deals with the crew of DS9 and maybe voyager because they have not made a movie based on those two series and i think it would be awsome.

Summary: Slow with a few enjoyable scenes!
Review: I am a Star Trek Fan, however, this movie lacked energy. As with Star Trek 1,3,5 and now Insurrection the Movie was slow, even boring at times. The only thing keeping it from getting one star was the great special effects and a few really great scenes. I would rent this one!

Summary: It's what Star Trek is all about
Review: I think most of us were spoiled by the quality of the television series. Star Trek TNG had a big budget and great writers and we all fell in love with it. Most Trek fans think this movie is just a two-hour television episode made into a movie, I happen to think it's an excellent representation of what Star Trek is all about. Great special effects (you can never get enough of them.)Once again Brent Spinner steals the show as an android gone mad and a loveable best friend. Finally Picard acts like himself and not some phsyco Borg dude. After watching this movie you feel good. The villains in the movie are the only flaw in an otherwise excellent movie, I think a couple of make up tips from Cher would solve their problem without having to wipe out an entire race.

Summary: Great movie, but doesn't take full advantage of DVD
Review: I loved the film, but them am a die hard Trekkie from the TOS days. It's like a breath of fresh air to see Brent Spiner playing Data again after a year or two fo DS9 and Voyager. However, I don't know that the features of the DVD merit the extra costs over a VHS copy. You get the two trailers and a behind the scenes video, and it's in high res widescreen with Dolby sound. I would have liked to see a commentary track, perhaps from Frakes and Berman, as well as some production notes. When you compare this release to _Blade_ with all the extras included there, you realize the possibilities of DVD media and how few publishers are really taking advantage of it.

Summary: NOOOO
Review: Don't watch this movie; it tries to be an action flick. When Star TRek and action collide geekiness results: aliens with zits, bad face lifts, heroic bald guys, a gay robot who sings--its insanity

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Nice and light, humorous and comfortable
Review: I agree with everyone else: What was Frakes thinking of with the Joystick maneuver? LAME! The rest of the movie did have an episodic feel, but I am comfortable with the characters so the movie did not feel overly long. Berman, et al needs to do something more with Dr. Crusher. In every movie she seems to have a bit part. Also, Gordie needs to loosen up, he always seems a bit stiff. As always, Stewart, Frakes and Spiner were exceptional. However, the women need more depth. I think McFadden can handle more than giving out a few hyposprays! I've been a Trek fan since I was a child. I'll always watch the new movies and am looking forward to a STTNG and DS9 combo.

Summary: The battle for Paridise has begun
Review: Picard Turned in kind of a maquis to stop federation from getting off the planet and he had his crew to help ''the battle for paridise has begun''

Summary: THE BEST STAR TREK MOVIE YET!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This Movie provided an excellent story line with excellent SPECIAL EFFECTS. Although they did tend to draw somethings out a bit... IT IS WORTH SEEING AND/OR GETTING!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Best of the Odd-Numbered Movies
Review: I myself have been a Star Trek fan all of my life: old Trek, Next-Gen, DS-9, and the movies. This is one movie that my non-Trekker friends actually went out of their way to see. All around, a most excellent movie, though not the best in the movie series. As I mentioned above, it is certainly the best of the odd-numbered movies-- if one were to put the Trek movies in order from best to worst, the even-numbered ones would be at the top of the list, and so would this one.
