Summary: INSURECTION ROCKS
Review: I think that Insurection is by a long shot the best Star Trek film. The story is mostly about what is called the PRIME DIRECTIVE which has exsisted since the federation was founded in 2160 and captain Picard discovers that a joint allience of the Sona and the Federation to abandon what he has thought for all his life. He and several members of his crew fight on behalf of the defensless baku so they can stay on the planet that has kept them young. But do the Sona just want the planet , or is there some personal involvement?

Review: This an excellent movie. This a must-have for any Star Trek or SCI-FI fan. I think it is a great edition to the Star Trek saga. Anybody who does not like this movie has got to have something wrong with them or is just out to make fun of everything that they don't like.

Summary: Good Film
Review: Over all "Star Trek: Insurrection"was a good film. It had everything I look for in a good story; plot twists, humor a little romance and a fair amount of action. It wasn't quite as good as "Star Trek: First Contact" But then, that is a tough act to follow.

Summary: Not as good as First Contact but still great
Review: When I first saw Insurrection, I had high hopes for it. When I left the theatre, I wasn't disappointed. Sure, there isn't a lot of action in this one like there was in First Contact, but it is still a great movie. My favorite scene is where Geordi, with his newly regenerated eyes, is seeing a sunrise for the first time. I am legally blind, and this scene was a very touching moment for me. The DVD is great, but the only downside is the lack of extras. The only extras are the two trailers and a short behind the scenes bit. I would have liked more, which is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Other than the lack of extras, this is a great addition to the Star Trek universe.

Review: Resistance is Futile. You will be assimilated. We have traced your communications back to your homeworld, and will orbit your plant, which will now be known as the third planet of system 659001, in less than three of your days. You should not have released "Insurrection." Although it provides the average Trek junkie with enough "beam me up"s and "make it so"s to give him his fix, it failed to generate enough tension so that the denoument becomes a true resolution and release. As you will not be when you have been assimilated.The old gang, as they now are physically and in our minds, look remarkably good considering that their series went off air over five years ago. But once we have assimilated them and all of you, physical appearance will become meaningless. We have studied your species and its preoccupation with externalities. You will thank us for relieving you of this worry as well as your free will. Resistance is futile.

Summary: So much potential, so little punch
Review: While this latest installment of the Star Trek franchise was certainly entertaining and fun it left me wanting more. A lot more. Supposedly there is a desperate war being waged between the Federation and the Dominion, yet the Federation's flagship is out picking flowers and dancing through the tulips with 300 year-old hippies. Forgive me if I don't shed too many tears for these happy folk, who have already managed to leech off Utopia for centuries while Starfleet is going 15 rounds for their freedom. There's nothing really wrong with the movie itself. It's lighthearted, fast-paced and exciting. But for those who follow the Star Trek universe this movie falls very short.

Review: Insurrection was the worest movie over Star trek. What i liked about Star trek, It was the peaceful exploration mission Enterprise crew do. That's what Star trek is all about and thats what Gene would have wanted it. Leave the fighting to Star Wars, Star Trek is peaceful. I feel Star trek is dieing out so start collecting. They ruined the chance to make DS9 Movies by splitting crew up at the end. I hated it when they took Star trek themes out of the shows. "...To Boldly Go Where No man Has gone before" Gene would not be happy.

Review: I thought the movie did stand out from the rest of the series with respect to the various twists involved. Take that away, and you have the typical format layer of play - Away mission goes down and does there thing, while the ship has it's own priorities. Over all the most entertaining Star Trek Saga Yet.
