Summary: The Fellowship of the Rings...
Review: was AMAZING! From the first frame to the credits, the movie was absolutely breathtaking. The cast played their roles perfectly, while the music played with the movie. Peter Jackson gives great direction, and the story itself was epic. Everyone should go see this movie.

Summary: The Star Wars of this Generation
Review: Watching the LOTR for the first time I decided I could not wait another year to find out what happens next. I quickly bought the Hobbit and LOTR and read them in about a month. I never could put them down. This movie is just breathtaking. Everything about it is so awe-inspiring. It's a great shame that it did not win Best Picture...it truly was. It is an epic film. I love all the behind the scenes information on this Edition. The best part of it all for me is the extra 30 minutes of deleted and extended scenes. It's wonderful. You won't be sorry to buy this!

Summary: Talk about STINKER!!!
Review: Watching this film at a theatre was three of the worst hours of my life. This film is completely empty! All I remember is a lot of effects, battles and Elijah Wood's big-eyed, scared and stupid face. He looked the same for THREE #*ยค@#ING HOURS! I HATE Elijah Wood, I HATE Peter Jackson and I HATE Lord of the Rings!!!!

Summary: The return of the king of Fantasy:Tolkien's "Ring" rules!
Review: Watching Tolkien's Fellowship of the Rings come to life on the big screen last Christmas was simply a breathtaking experience. Of course the world of Tolkien had already come to life in my mind as a teenager but the magic slumbered until it was awakened by this movie. Delightful hobbits, crafty (albeit ornery at times) dwarves, skilled elves and malignanct goblins and orcs teem in this movie, while Gandalf's superior wizardry saves the day time and again. The movie remained faithful to the book and this is often a rarity. The script remains loyal to to character; the spectacle is truly marvelous to behold. Applause all around!!!

Summary: Awesome Movie
Review: Way to cool of a movie. A little bit draggy but very awesome all the little details of its surrounding and people. Get the DVD/VHS and you'll never regret to have it.

Summary: The not so special edition
Review: We all love lord of the rings. Yet New Lines idea of giving us a regular edition and a special edition about two months later is just a way to rake in cash. So hold on tight, wait until November and get the special edition. You know you will want it with it's 30minutes of extra footage, and more.

Summary: What do we have?
Review: We can't analyse the movie yet, he is not on the screen.
We can analyse what we saw until now, and it is:

1. Trailers - Amazing photography, costumes, editing, especial-effects, middle-earth looks perfect.
2. Saundtrack - Mr. Shore did a great job, for those who like this kind of music it's a wonderfull piece of art.
3. Story - If you know and like the story, if all itens above are only good, mix whit the story an you got a mega-movie.

The only thing that can be bad in the end is the acting and the quemestry of the actors, but we don't know that YET.
Titanic is a great movie whit bad acting.
I think they got all, Lord of the rings will put Titanic in the tub.

Summary: So much better than the theater!
Review: We waited 3 extra months to get this extended dvd and boy it was definitely worth the wait. There are so many extra scenes in the movie, it makes all the difference. Fans of the book will be glad that there is more character development and that they show more about the shire, Galadriel's gifts, and 3 different feature length commentaries. People who have not read the book will find this edition of the movie so much clearer and explanatory. I suddenly can't picture the movie lacking these scenes. Plus the 2 extra discs full of features...man I've been watching the movie so much, I haven't even started on those! If you thought you liked the theatrical release, just wait until you see this edition. Except for a few debating issues with the book changes, this dvd is flawless!

Summary: AWESOME
Review: We were in the theater Dec. 19th. We have been awaiting this movie anxiously since it was anoounced a year ago and were not disappointed one bit. Except that it had to end.
The 3 hour 5 min. run time seems like any ordinary length movie. You are so involved with the action, the flow of the story, the incredible scenery and magic of it all, when it ended the entire audience let out a sigh and moan that it had come to a close.
The acting by all involved is exceptional, the effects of the 3 foot hobbits next to the other full size characters is so
phenomenal and totally believeable. The trueness to the books is wonderful. The bringing to life Tolkien's descriptions and my imagined visions is beyond description.
We will see it again. The only way to view this is on the big screen! We will now have to wait patiently for the next installment. By far exceeds Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc. Excellent, don't miss.
