Summary: Awesome Spectacular of Modern Cinemascope
Review: I agree with the reviewer from Salt Lake City, Utah. Although I was not a "purist" before seeing the any of the "Rings" movies, I believe this may have given myself an advantage in not allowing myself to be judgemental & biased towards the books or the movies. Everyone knows that 99.9% of the time the movie is never identical to the book, that is of course unless one lives in a vaccumn? Heck even the famous "Anne Rice" was commissioned by the studio who made "Interview" to write the screenplay for the movie, and she wasn't a 100% faithful to the book! So with that in mind, it's funny to me that people exhaust their energies trying to get everyone else to buy into their beliefs. It's a movie for Christ sake! Enjoy it for what it is, and stop making into someting it isn't

Summary: I love this movie!!!
Review: The Lord of the Rings- The Two Towers. Oh my great movie!!!!!!!! I loved it!!! The special effects were great, the intensity that you felt at times was great. And not only was there action in it, but there was also a love story which makes the movie even better. This movie pulled you right in and made you want to watch more. I am for surely going to the third one to see how they sum it all up. I love this movie and the whole series and it is a definite buy when it comes to video and dvd.

Summary: excellent
Review: This series of movies is one of the best at following the spirit of the books. Even though the books are not followed word for word, there is nothing that doesn't work in the movie. There's nothing that leaves you wondering "How does that fit with Lord of The Rings?". The extended dvd is good too. I have the first one and have already preordered the second. The extended version lets you get a fuller story through extra footage that is added back into the movie. Plus you also get interviews with the cast, director, etc. I would recommend watching the movies in order though or it will not make much sense. Particularly "The Two Towers" since it doesn't really have a beginning or an end.

Summary: Better than the first!
Review: This is just how I imagined it as I read the book! It is much more action packed and visually stimulating than the first film in the series. With vivid action scenes, good acting, good music, and great special effects, this movie is a necessity for any collection.

Summary: i loved it!!
Review: "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" was one of my favorite movies of all time. I love the trilogy and can't wait until the third movie comes out.

Summary: Wow! 40 minutes of new scenes!!!
Review: And if this one is like the first Extended DVD, those scenes will help the movie in terms if pace and character development, which will be nice for all of those tolkein fanatics who wanted a vesion a little truer to the book. Those scenes- you probably know them- that deviated from the origional story will likely be justified in the longer version or in Return of the king. I heard the new scenes will include a few more humorous scenes, a couple of scenes in rivendell and Lotloren, a conversation between Gandalf and Aragorn, more of Saruman in his chamber at Orthanc with Wormtonge, and a lot more of Treebeard, including the Ent draught! Some of these scenes will certainly help when watching film 3. This one will also have 2 discs of extras and FOUR commentary tracks with the director, design and post tean, as well as the cast (this one better have Viggo morntensen, because his role is certainly much larger in The Two towers.)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: best trilogy ever
Review: This movie rules, it defidently doesn't follow the usual trilogy rule of getting worse as they go. The two towers is every bit as as good as fellowship of the ring. These movies do an excellant job of telling the best story ever written. Combine the allstar cast, the breathtaking scenery, and the all time greatest story. And you have one of the best movies ever.
