Rating: Summary: This film has a exellent mixture of action,adventure,love... Review: This film is exellant with lots of cool stunts like climing up the massive moutain at the end and the enormous ski jump,AND the bit when Bond and his babe are tied up and they get pulled under the water. The music is funky and has a good beat and the opening song is the best opening song out of ALL the Bond films. It's about this thing[I forgot what it's called]which can use the British ships to fire on their own county. It gets nicked and Bond has to get it
Rating: Summary: Roger Moore is back at it again as 007! Review: I just absolutely love this Bond film. In this great James Bond movie, Bond has to recover the A.T.A.C. system, which was stolen from the sunken British liner. When he finds out about the A.T.A.C. system, he uncovers the brutal murder of a Greek girls parents and she is taking revenge for her parents death. Here, Bond is in a similar situation when at the beginning, he visits the grave of Contessa Theresa Bond, his wife who was murdered by Blofeld at the end of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". I just love this movie to death and it cerainly deserves a place in your James Bond video library. It has a spot in mine all ready to be delivered straight to my door.
Rating: Summary: This review is For your eyes only Review: The title, acting, scenery, and well everything is great about this movie. Roger does a great job as bond and the ATAC system: how appropriate. Great plot too. A must for anyone who likes Bond, James Bond.
Rating: Summary: For More Than Just Your eyes Review: It's nice to know that Roger Moore can act. I personally think that Dalton would have done a better job at this part, but Moore is adequate. The plot is more engaging than the previous ones. A ship with ATAC unit sinks off the coast of Greece and a smuggler plots to sell it to the Russians for a price. Bond is sent to Greece to recover the ATAC. He then works with the two-faced Kristatos, who plans to use 007 to eliminate his competition, his brother Columbo. Columbo makes a fine good guy. The Bond girl is Melina, whose parents were working for the British Government and trying to find the ATAC and were killed by Kristatos. She tries to avenge them throughout the film and finally does. Admiral Gogol makes a nice appearance towards the end. For comic relief we have Bibi Dahl, the skating protege who wants to sleep with Bond. The score by Bill Conti is fantastic. The action is thrilling. A Great Bond.
Rating: Summary: The most under-rated Bond movie Review: I have been a fan of James Bond since first grade when I saw "From Russia With Love" on TV. I have a deep, heartfelt affinity for the entire series, even the lesser entries. "For Your Eyes Only" seems to be the Bond movie that never got it's fair share of praise. Let me state for the record here that this one is up there with "License to Kill," and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" as one of the best of the Bond movies. The scene in "FYEO" in which Moore shoves a car containing a helpless man off a cliff ranks as one of the best in the entire series and it represents Moore at his most ruthless as Bond (he argued against this scene because his interpretation of Bond has always been lighthearted). Overall this one probablly won't please those who like gimmicks, but it just might be a Bond that appeals to those who hate the series.
Rating: Summary: Your Eyes (And The Rest of You) Will Love It!! Review: After the disappointing "Moonraker", we came back to a down-to-earth Bond thriller. There are strong villains, beautiful women, and thrilling scenes. The "Bond Girl" is Melina Havelock, who is one of the best Bond Women ever. She is a tough, crossbow-wielding, half-Greek beauty. Here for comic releif is the randy, teenage Bibi Dahl. The villains are flesh-and-blood and mortal, which is enjoyable after the far-fetched, steel-toothed, invulnerable Jaws. I have watched the movie three times so far, and it gets better each time.
Rating: Summary: A good Bond film with Roger Moore - yes it's true Review: The only Bond movie with Roger Moore in it that is worth seeing. "Octopussy" is quite all right, but it doesn't don't come near this one. Moore is finally believable as a rougher 007 and the story makes sense this time, and keeps you puzzled for a while as well. I liked this Colombo chap, the Citroen 2CVv chase and Bill Conti's music, and Carole Bouquet is one of the best Bond girls ever. The only flaws are that awful, awful Lotus car and the parrot. See this film.
Rating: Summary: cool! Review: The ski chase was cool!!!!!!!! Cool car.Ladiy with the bow & arrow, good shot.
Rating: Summary: The movie is unforgetable! Review: This has got to be one of my all-time favorites! Roger Moore is terrific through-out the entire movie. The action and drama are great, but the love-story with the perfect music make it an original sure to become a classic. Way to go 007! Keep them coming.
Rating: Summary: "For Your Eyes Only" is top-notch Bond. Review: After the debatable qualities of "Moonraker," Bond comes back to earth in "For Your Eyes Only." Roger Moore's most realistic Bond, it is also one of Moore's finest, second only to "The Spy Who Loved Me." When an undercover British ship is sunk, countries around the globe rush to grab the ATAC unit that is on board. Bond's mission is to keep it from falling into the wrong hands. Bond Girl Carol Bouquet and possible villains Topol and Julian Glover make "Eyes" a highly entertaining thriller, and certainly one of Moore's most engaging. The score is adequate, with several very good instrumental pieces. Highlights include the pre-credits sequence, Bond being pursued on a ski slope, and Bond dangling precariously from the side of a cliff as one of the villain's henchmen hammers out the supports holding his rope. As for the fate of the ATAC, it's not what you would expect.
