Summary: OUTSTANDING!
Review: Not only is this chapter in the saga a huge improvement over Episode I, it compliments it enormously. The Phantom Menace was unfairly panned due to the overblown hype and expectation for the film. Sure it had flaws in both acting and plot, but so did the original Star Wars. Critics scoffed at that film in 1977 only to see it set box office records and attain pop culture immortality. And now, with the internet and sixteen years of waiting, every move George Lucas makes is under intense scrutiny. The man can do no right in most people's eyes. He's a victim of his own success. In Episode II, Lucas not only demonstrates are more apt hand in storytelling, but manages to deliver a dramatic punch along with all the eye-popping visuals. Anakin's first step towards the dark side is chilling and poignant. And the battle sequences are some of the finest in the Star Wars saga. Yes, the romantic storyline is clunky, and lacks the charm of Empire, but it's adequate. Overall, Clones is a fine addition to the saga and as I said before compliments Menace. A painting can't be judged solely on one portion of the canvas. Lucas is near completion of his space fantasy epic. Let's give him a chance to finish before final judgement is passed on his work.

Summary: The worst movie I've seen
Review: This movie was so stupid I've seen better when I went to see Cast Away. I mean if you've seen that movie you would get board and I think I could make a better movie than this.

Review: One of George Lucas's many masterpieces! Star Wars episode II attack of the clones describes the events before Luke and Leia.It consists of the training of Anikan, his love for Padme, and great fight scenes with incredible digital effects! Oh ya, and a spectacular fight scene with master yoda. For all star wars fans out there, Ep. II is a must see!

Summary: Great looking movie, but do shut up
Review: The look of this movie is absolutely incredible. Some of the shots (both real and CGI) are epic-quality... I especially liked the detail in the city where the clone army was created. The city of Courisant (if I spelled it incorrectly, I apologize) always looks great.

As for the script, I felt it was more about plot-progression than actual insightful dialogue. Does George know how people talk? My answer is, "well he used to!" Except for Ewan McGregor (and Yoda), the acting was horrible. I am disappointed that Natalie Portman became such a horrible actress, because she is much better than this performance. I can only judge this movie incomparison to other Star Wars movies. My opinon is that this movie is better than Phantom Menace and worse than the other three...I'm hoping that before Ep 3, Lucas will take a screenwriting course...and the cast spend some time reverting back to good actors.

Review: The look of this movie is absolutely incredible. Some of the shots (both real and CGI) are epic-quality (I thought I was watching Lawrence of frickin' Arabia for a while). I can only judge this movie incomparison to other Star Wars movies. My opinon is that this movie is better than Phantom Menace and worse than the other three (fyi, I consider the Empire Strikes Back the best). I'm hoping that before Ep 3, Lucas will take a screenwriting course (or at least buy a book) and the cast spend some time reverting back to good actors.

Summary: SAGA CONTUES
Review: this great movie contues the saga after episode one but before episode four, five, and six. Lucas filled this movie with tons of action.I mean gosh if you havent seen it you must. It is the best star wars movie yet by far. The bad guys are cool too. Jango, dooku, and droids vs. tons of jedi including Obi- wan, Anakin, Yoda, Mace windu, and all the other greats. Over all it was a great movie altough it had a couple gushy parts that i didnt care for.

Summary: STINK, STANK, (...)!
Review: Like many others, I anxiously awaited Episode II. I am a Star Wars fan, and went to this movie the day it opened.

What a WASTE of money! This movie was pretty awful!!! I don't want to put any spoilers in here, so I will not go into specific details.

Natalie Portman does an OK job. My true beef is with Hayden Christensen. This guy has no true PASSION for the role in which he plays.

Most of the movie has true mediocre acting. There are a few people that make the video worth renting, but definitely NOT buying unless you simply want it for the collection.

The last 20 minutes of the movie were the best, but by that time (because this is not a short movie) I was having to control my yawning. One redeeming aspect of the movie is that during the ending portion of the movie YODA rocks!!

In short, RENT but DON'T BUY, not worth your time or $$$$.

Summary: The Absolute Worst Star Wars Ever!
Review: I remember the excitement of waiting in line for over four hours before the release of the original. I was not disappointed. Star Wars broke new ground (as 2001 had done, and Forbidden Planet before that) visually, in terms of effects and scale. In comparision to the standard set for the genre, the characters were lively (Han Solo), the dialogue was sometimes witty and intelligent, and the story was compellingly told. If the plot was simplistic and without imagination, the way it was told was not. And, what held for the original generally held for the first three releases; while not without flaws, they remain some of the best SciFi filmwork ever done.
What happened in the intervening years between episode six and episode one, no one can say. But, the results speak for themselves. Just when you thought Lucas could not have possibly made a worse movie than Phantom Menance, he released Attack of the Clones. Without plot or purpose, the movie drags the increasingly apathetic viewer through a series of happenings that one neither cares about nor, at times, can visually interpret. Rather than develop dramatic tension that moves toward some final confrontation, Lucas simply fills the screen with a clutter of images. So, if you like movies that are extensions of what you now see on CNN, then you'll like this: it's a jumble of visual data about which no one could possibly care. On the other hand, if you like a good story, are interested in SciFi, and want to see excellent visual effects, then I suggest you beg the movie companies to fire Lucas and have someone (probably a person picked randomly out of a crowd) else direct the final installment. Or, you might watch Contact.

Summary: Why was this movie given so many bad reviews
Review: Roger Ebert and friends may have hated this, but I loved it. What's there to hate? I've been a StarWars diehard fan since the age of 7 (now 14) and well, Attack of The Clones, is great. In fact, I love all the Star Wars movies, I'd give them all more than 5 stars if I could. I mean what's there to hate: you learn all about the clone wars, you get to see teenage Darth Vader, you get to see what I think are the best specail effects ever put onto screen, and a wonderful storyline. Not to mention a powerful villian, Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku, superb acting, and a revealing fact on why Yoda is the most powerful of the Jedi. I sure will buy it when it comes out, and you should to.
