Summary: Special effects can never save a bad movie.
Review: I saw this movie shortly after it was released, and even though I was starved for entertainment, this failed to satisfy. In all fairness, the special effects were great, but the movie was severely hampered by poor dialouge, and an even more moronic story. To my great fortune, I've only had to endure viewing this bomb twice (not by choice), but I urge anybody that was a fan of the original not to waste hard earned cash on this sorry excuse of a movie.

Summary: Who da Man Yoda man
Review: I love this movie. It is far better then The Phantom Menace. If I ran the Academy Awards this would have have gotten best picture, effects, directer, and actress. First of all the DVD is awsome. It is the best looking and one of the best sounding discs I have ever watched on DVD. Until HD-DVD comes out in about 4 years this is the best image you will see on disc. It also has great extras. The Deleted Scenes are completed for this disc and one of them Padmes family should have been left in. As for the movie it is the best ever. The effects are photoreal and all over the place. It is visualy stunning. The acting is just OK it is improved over the Phantom Menace and serves the purpose very well. Natalie Portmans preformance realy shines. She is absolutly gorgous, beautiful, and hot. Any strait man on Earth will love her slim outfits. I know I did. The plot is very dark. It has all the elements that made The Empire Strikes Back a great movie. It involves a conflict of the systems that eventually leads to the Clone Wars. It shows Anikans transformation to Darth Vader while falling in love with Padme. Great timeless story that has nothing not to like. Now this movies action is the best part. It has every kind of action scene a Star Wars movie can have. The end Clone War has everything clones, hundreds of Jedi, droids, monsters, sith, tanks, gunships, and of course Yoda fighting. This in my mind is the best part of the movie. Yoda da man. It deserves to be best everything. Begun the Clone War has.

Summary: Calling Michael Moore
Review: Where is he so he can give another anti-war diatribe like:"Shame on you Mr. Lucas, shame on you!"

Review: Don't buy this poor effort by George Lucas. Everyone I know was disapointed by this extremely overrated film. Don't waste your money.

Summary: Exciting and fun
Review: The people that are giving this movie bad reviews are holding it up to some fantasy expectations. This movie was exciting and very well done. Obi-Wan got to do some great swashbuckling that Han Solo had been doing in the first 3 movies. Dooku and Jango Fett were great villains. Sure Hayden Christensen is a horrible actor, but we forgave Keanu and dug Matrix. Portman is cute, JarJar was kept to a minimum. There is a lot more humor than the first one, without the dour Qui-Gon Jinn. There was plot nonsense, but it was usually followed up by some cool scenes.

Summary: Lost to LOTR:TTT for special effects
Review: Oh well, no oscar. Is anyone surprised? I think we were all disapointed in this latest Lucas misadventure. How he took this once great trilogy down to such low depths boggles the mind.

Summary: Did not win RAZZIES WORST FILM OF THE YEAR!
Review: I heard the voting was close though! All kidding aside, for this movie to be put in the same category as that aweful Madonna flick is pretty humiliating. I would not say it was THAT bad, but considerably close.

Summary: Another subpar review
Review: First I want to say I am a Star Wars fan. I used to think Empire Strikes back was the worst, but this one takes the cake. Most of the storyline was interesting and the acting was done well. My big problem is Anakin whining through the whole movie. More scenes should have been created where he was being cocky; it suits the future Darth Vader a lot better. I don't know much about Hayden Christiansen, but I hope this is not his best performance. I enjoyed the special effects and the rest of the plot. For the most part, I liked the movie but not enough to give it more than 2 stars.

Summary: One of the Best
Review: Star Wars Episode II, was one of the best movies ever made. I saw on this site that many people didn't like it. Well you know what? Don't listen to them. You have to see movies for your self. Don't listen to others, because who knows you might like it. Or just rent it before you buy it. I hate when other people tell you not to see a movie or TV show, only becase "THEY" didn't like it.If its looks good and you what to see, then SEE it!

Summary: A big improvement
Review: With Star Wars Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones, George Lucas makes up for a lot of the shortcomings of Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Here, in Episode 2, We finally get to see a lot of the historical events that had only been teasingly described in the original classic trilogy and which most Star Wars fans had hoped to see in Episode I. For example: The beginning of 'The Clone Wars', armies of Jedi Knights going into battle, the friendship of young Obi-Wan Kenobi and young Anakin Skywalker, and of course, the earliest stages of Anakin's slip toward the Dark Side.

I know there are a lot of people out there who were so bitterly disappointed with Episode I that they now hold a fierce grudge against Lucas and Star Wars in general. These types have developed an ugly chip on their shoulder, and refuse to be swayed, as if hating George Lucas for making Episode I were now a matter of personal honor, or something. I feel a little sorry for these passionately angry souls.

Because, let's be fair, Attack of the Clones delivers the old fashioned Star Wars goods, the likes of which I've not seen since Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi, in 1983. Yes, there's some stiff acting and corny dialogue between Anakin and Padme, and an atrocious Saturday morning cartoon level comedy gag which bastardizes C-3PO in the latter half.

But there's also hundreds of Jedis with lightsabers chopping evil droids and bug-men to pieces, three great-looking giant monsters, a spooky water planet, the evil of Christopehr Lee, intense action scenes involving Jango Fett, a gigantic war at the end, Natalie Portman with most of her clothes ripped off, more bodily dismemberments per capita than any Star Wars movie so far, and of course, you finally get to see why Yoda is called 'The Master.'

If you go into Episode 2 Attack of the Clones, determined to be disappointed and with The Phantom Menace chip firmly placed on your shoulder, of course you will hate it.

On the other hand, if you just relax and enjoy it for what it is, you have to admit, it's a cool movie, totally entertaining, and loads of fun.
