Summary: Attack of the Clones RULEZ!!!!!
Review: This is the best movie George Lucas has ever made. There is a lot more fighting , chasing, and loving in this film. The parts I like is when Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker)chase Zam all across the planet Couriscant. The other best part is when Padme Amidala Neberre (Natalie Portman), Anakin Skywalker, and all of the Jedi fight in the arena. This is also a very well put together scene. This is the best Star Wars cast ever since Star Wars Episode VI Return Of the Jedi. Thank You so much George For the very well made films. YOU RULE GEORGE!!

Review: Special Effects should be used to support an already good story/screenplay and Lucas doesn't have that to begin with. He is a horrible scriptwriter because he has no realistic sense of dialogue. In addition to this, he is not a great director. The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were both far superior to the original and were not directed by Lucas. Because of his inability to direct, the romantic tension between Christiansen and Portman is essentially non-existent and the overall emotion in the film is about on par with the Star Wars Holiday Special. Good special effects don't make a good movie. Lucas tries to do too much himself and in the end the success of the movie is carried by the success of its predecessors and its good, but overused, special effects.

Summary: This is a SPECTACULAR FAILURE!
Review: George! what were you THINKING? Can't you get it through your head that it's OVER! MOVE ON! or better yet, TAKE SOME DIRECTING CLASSES!once again, george proves his incompetence and gives us another animated romp through the galaxy. Ships blow up, jedi die, clones are made, yoda frog fights, and Amadala gets her shirt torn in just the right places. If you thought Episode 1 was bad then get ready for [disappointment] 2! Hayden Christiansen was a bad mistake for the role of Anakin. Although he's a good actor, he just plane out STINKS in this movie. The same goes for every other actor too. It's not their fault they don't know what they're doing. Leave it to george to give them nothing to act against. ALl the sets are fake, all the extras are CGI and all the fights are animated. What is there to act against? BLUE SCREENS! WOW! The first rule in leadership is EVERYTHING is YOUR fault. George better get a grip on reality before he screws up episode 3. Don't bother watching this load of bull. Just watch the originals and bask in the joy of knowing they will never be topped EVER!

Review: If you have like the first 3 Star Wars in the past, you like this one. It was action packed from the beginning till the end. You start to care about the charaters in episode II. Looking forward for the next one to come out.

Summary: Great movie and a break through of modern cinematogrophy
Review: I am really tired of the critics bashing the Star Wars movies. These movies capure something that no other film has ever done. Hence the huge following and enormous sucess. I don't believe a critic should even be allowed to critique a Star Wars movie until he's seen it at least twice. There is just to much happening to honestly catch it in one viewing. If critics took the time to learn the whole back story to the Star Wars universe it would aid them in there incompetent venture. The previous reviewer didn't like the performance by Hayden Christensen and then goes on to state that he thought HAyden would have done a better job if he had played the part. Exactly what I am talking about incompetence. If you don't even know the actors name how can you critique him. Hayden did a wonderful job with this movie showing just enought dark forshadowing. Natalie, Ewan and Lee also were phenomenal. Mr. Lucas and Mr. Macallum have much to be proud of. They did an great job with the second installment of the Star Wars series. Can't wait for Episode III.

Summary: AOTC is the best in the series!
Review: Star Wars Attack of the Clones is by far the best movie in the entire series. It has anything a Star Wars fan could ask for. Yoda fighting with a lightsaber, padme, a giant jedi war, great visual effects, great characters, and much more. The acting in the movie is great, especially Ewan Mcgregor as Obi-wan, and Natalie Portman as padme. I'd say that the highlights of the movie are the arena battle between the Jedi and droids, and then when Yoda comes to save obi-wan and anakin and fights Dooku. The only thing that would slow the movie down, if anything, would be the love story. Over all I think that this movie was great, and I've seen it four times already and plan to see it more.

Summary: Stereotypical Teen Movie Set in Space
Review: Ok, it is star wars. The origional Star Wars movies set a standard in which every other Sci-Fi movie has since tried to break. The acting wasn't amazing, but everything else about it was way ahead of its time. Ok, now, the past two star wars movies have been horrible. They completly ride on the legacy of the origional movies, and have nothing new or origional to offer.
The writing first of all leaves much to desire, the romance aspect of this film seems inferior to grocery store Romance Novels. The acting, is horrible, and the special effects aren't even close to being ahead of our time. Don't bother seeing it.

Summary: Yoda Rules
Review: In the future, this movie will be remembered for only one thing: YODA ROCKS!!!! Outside of this, "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones" will be easily forgotten by most people. The reason for this is due to the mistake of casting Hayden Christensen in the role of Anakin Skywalker. Hayden was not very convincing in portraying the duality conflict that should be inherent in Anakin at this time of his life. In addition, there was very little believable chemistry between Anakin and Senator Padme Amidala, played by the talented Irish actress Natalie Portman. The story has the Senator go from treating Anakin like the little boy she last knew him as to getting married at the blink of an eye. Granted, the "Star Wars" franchise is better known for the action and the special effects, but this was just plain sloppy. Speaking of special effects, George Lucas has done it again with this movie. The effects used to create the massive fight scene between the Replubic Jedis and Count Dooku's army was visually stunning and very fun to watch. Not to mention Yoda's solo fight scene against Count Dooku (Yoda rocks!). As far as the rest of the movie, it was your standard Star Wars fare, which is a very good thing. The puns by C-3PO were as awful as ever (that's a compliment), and Ian McDiarmid, as Chancellor Palpatine, is as fun as ever. The more he is on screen, the more we can see the resemblence between him and the Emporer from "Return of the Jedi." If you can look past the unbelievable romance between Anakin and the Senator, this movie is not half bad. If you can't see beyond the romance, then all I can say is... "May the Force be with you." Oh yeah...... and YODA ROCKS!!!!

Summary: Disappointing
Review: Big Time Spoilers: I may be the only one to say this but I thought Episode 1, even with Jar Jar and all those flaws, was better than this one. One thing I dont like is when a movie doesnt stick with its internal logic. Episode 1 still had that Jedi magic. In this movie, the Jedi come off looking rather incompetant..Obi One gets his but kicked by just about everyone and everything in the movie. Jedi Masters in the counsel are getting gunned down by droids and bounty hunters..what happened to their knowledge of the force? Where were all the other 10 thousand Jedi? Only a couple dozen seemed to be around. Remember, in Episode jedi were able to successfully block automatic fire from destroyers. How about when Obi One is hanging off Jango Fett's line? Why doesnt he just jump up like he did in episode one when he was hanging on against Darth Maul. Some other big disapointments: Acting was unever. It went from quite good in the case of Ian Mcgregggar and Christopher Lee to just bad with Annakin Skywalker. Everyone knew how complicated and difficult this part was going to be when they were casting..a really talented actor was needed to lend credibilty to this character who is esentially good but becomes the most evil being in the galaxy. The actor (I dont remember his name) is just terrible and unconvincing. Everything he says seems forced and unnatural. People complain about dialogue but good actors can make bad dialogue work. Natalie Portman also pretty much dialed in her performance. As much as I liked Fett and Count Dooku, neither of these guys were menacing the way Darth Maul was..this guy was seriously scary and threatening...rivaling only Vader himself. As much as I immensely disliked and even hated jar jar and little anakin and that rip off ending blowing up the trade federation ship..the light sabre battle in the end between the two jedi and maul was the best by far of the series..Ive watched that scene alone over and over again. That sequence alone make Episode 1 for me. The look on Obi Wons face after seeing Kwai gon cut down as he looked at Maul behind the laser barrier was brilliant acting..a mix of fear and hatred and grief..you could see these emotions conflicting in Obi Won's face as he waited for the barrier to open. One thing Lucas had for him in the first series that people do not give enough credit for was that he had very strong performers with immense stae presence manning key parts to balance all the technology. Alec Guiness is one of the best actors of our time and Lucas got incredibly lucky in stumbling into Harrison Ford. Hamil and Fisher, though not as charismatic, were accoplished actors and played their roles believably. There are enough good actors working on the new movies (Jackson and Mcgreggor and Lee) to give it life but the plot is being being centered around the Anakin Skywalker role to a great degree..and the performace in that role is going to determine whether the movies are just another summer movie or classics the wayt the first series were. Although it is too late to recast, there are two actors who could have done an immensely better job, Edward Furlong (T2 Judjment day, American History X) and Hayden Christianson (Patriot and Knights Tale).

Summary: HMMMM..... Much Better Than Episode One
Review: So, I liked it. Some of the other reviewers are whining about stuff, but it was good. The character development was awesome. I loved watching Anakin getting closer to the Dark Side. The acting was really good. I can't say i liked the love story. It wasn't bad. It's just Both characters started to get annoying and repetitive about it. I found that watching Anakin and Padme interacting really well-acted, however they had the same problem over and over. The interaction between Obi-wan and Anakin was much more entertaining. I loved how Anakin kept telling Padme that Obi-wan was like his father. I enjoyed watching the scenes witrh Obi-wan more. McGregor did a really good job portraying Obi-wan's personality. It matched up very well with the personality of Obi-wan in Episode one and the later Star Wars. The fight scene with Obi-wan, Anakin, and Dooku was my favorite. They got totally whooped and guess who saves the day..Yoda. That's just sweet! As for the bad guys. I like Dooku, he's actually kinda hard to hate. He's one of those polite, smooth, charming kinda bad guys. And Darth Sidius... um there is not a whole lot to say. We all know who he is and what he'll do in the future. As Palpatine, he's really cool. He's slick, flattering Anakin, grooming him to betray the Jedis. You almost think he's trying to protect the republic, then you remember what goes down later. After Episode one I'm very pleased with Attack of The Clones. I think it was well acted, paticularly Dooku, Obi-wan, and Anakin. This movie has me extremely excited to see episode three. And to all those complaining, I'd like to see you come up with a better plotline. I'm willing to bet you couldn't. So face it, it was well done. I'd recommend this movie to anyone, even those who are not Star Wars fans.
