Summary: Indiana Jones and the Raiders (1999)
Review: This blew me away the first time that I saw it! I couldn't believe that Speilburg would make a movie with an entire football team, and I must admit that I was skeptical, but it turned out great! Wonderful! Highly recommended! I would give my child for the originals! Definitely a collector's item.

Summary: A Thrill A Second!
Review: This will be another classic movie done by Steven Speilberg. Jones is approached by federal government representatives to help locate the Ark of the Covenant. The Nazis (Hitler) are also looking for the Ark. Jones starts out on his mission in search of the prize. He goes through several near death scenarios before ending up in the desert. There the Ark is found by Jones and his small crew. They are in turn captured by the Nazis. All of this leads up to the exciting ending. The Nazis get the final shock opf their lives when they open up the Ark. A very good ending to a very good movie. This movie is very picturesque with the use of the desert scenes. Like I said before a classic.

Summary: Disappointment!
Review: I honor the talent of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas and I considerthe Inidiana Jones trilogy to be one of the best adventures I've ever seen. I do not understand why these two great men stopped producing new masterpieces about Indiana. They have NEVER CREATED ANYTHING BETTER since that ! They wasted more then a decade of their productive professional life on creating MEDIOCRE MOVIES! What's more, it looks like they decided to play money game with their audience by trying to earn as much as possible on VHS and leaving DVD release for rainy day in their careers. I am really disappointed! I think, it can push DVD release up if we stop buying VHS versions.

Summary: Brilliant Trilogy, now roll on the fourth
Review: Indiana Jones is the essance of advenure, every film is exciting and briliant in its own special way. Raiders of the Lost Arc was just all round brilliance, excitement, humour and Indy's typical arrogance make it a great film. The temple of Doom was good despite what some people think, after all if anything its worth buying for the first half- best opening to a film I've ever seen and who can forget the lovely Willie Scott and humorous Short Round. Last Crusade had all the same ingredients as raiders, but had more involvement from the nazis which I enjoyed. Sean Connery makes a valuable contribution to the series and the opening scene with young Indy was great. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. Oh and George, bring out the DVD set pleaseeeeee......Looks like I'll have to buy them both if Star Wars is anything to go by

Summary: Raiders Rocks !
Review: This is definetly the ultimate adventure movie starring Harrison Ford as the Dr. Jones who want to get the lost ark before the nazis. The specials effects are superb, the score is terrific and the cast is great. It's just to bad you can't find it on DVD yet but probably soon as possible it will be released.

Summary: Raiders of the Lost Ark
Review: After Jaws and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Steven Spielburg cmea back with another huge box-office success in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Harrison Ford is very good as archaeologist Indiana Jones, who goes looking for the Ark of the Covenant and get it before the Nazis do. The year is 1936. Raiders really never lets you down. It has a frisky pace and great action. After plundering an idol from a South American tomb, Jones must escape giant boulders and traps to get out alive, only to give up the idol to a rival archaeologist outside the tomb. Some other great action is an exciting car chase through the desert and a big fight in his ex-girlfriend's bar. The film concludes with horrifying yet spectacular scene in which the Ark of the Covenant kills the Nazis. Some memorable scenes are the legendary snake pit scene and where a man with a huge sword is ready to fight Jones. When the scene was being filmed, the script had a long fight between the man and Jones, sword against whip. However, Fordwas feeling ill when the scene was was being filmed, so he asked if it could be shortened. Spielburg suggested he just pull out his gun and shoot the guy. The result was a memorable scene. At the Academy Awards Raiders was nominated for 8 awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Score. It won four of them, Best Sound, Best Visual Effects, Best Film Editing, Best Art-Set Direction, and a Special Achievement Award for Sound Effects Editing, making it the most single Oscared film of the night. Though I like the original Star Wars better, Raiders is worth many viewings and I suggest you rent or buy it.

Summary: Indiana Jones Rocks My World
Review: These 3 movies epitomize my childhood. I can remember watching these with my family on regular occasions and with every viewing, they never get old or boring, but better every time! Harrison Ford (my favorite actor) plays Indiana to a T, creating a charector for both young and old and he embodies every boy's dream of the action adventure. These movies are great! Indiana Jones and the Raider's Of The Lost Arc is the first installment of the trilogy (possibly the first of four, there is talk about the three super powers, Steven Spielebrg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford working on a new Indiana Jones movie in the near future)The first one is probably the best, though No.3, Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade does challenge. All in all these are amazing movies that should be enjoyed for generations to come. Five out of five.

Summary: desperately screams DVD!
Review: these movies help define harrison ford. just wish he was younger than he is to make indy 4 work better....THIS TRILOGY NEEDS TO BE PUT TO DVD! just think of how crisp and clear the visuals/audio would be....and the extras! lucas needs to take a little time off star wars just to bring the indy trio to DVD.
