Summary: SPOILER ABOUT UPCOMING RELEASE!
Review: Just read on theonering.net that they are cutting out Saruman's death scence at the start of Return of the King. They feel it slows down the pacing of the movie, by dwelling on scenes and locations from the Two Towers. Jackson said that the ten minute death scene will be on the Extended version due out November 2004. Just thought some people might want to know. Still can't wait for this movie!

Review: This has got to be the most highly anticipated movie of 2003 I saw the trailer on [E] coming attractions and I just have to say,'WOW! I'm looking forward to this film more so then the next Harry Potter movie. Thank you Petter Jackson for your talent and giving the world a chance to see what middle earth might have been, sorry though that it will soon come to an end. This is a must see for Lord of the Rings fans this film does look and probably will be great. My review is what I think by just seeing the coming attraction. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title

Summary: Best Movies Ever Put On Film and DVD
Review: Well here we go, first off I have grown up hearing all about the Lord Of The Rings... yet never have I read any of the 4 books (The Hobbit, Fellowship Of The Ring, The Two Towers, and Return Of The King)or watched the animated movies until Peter Jackson Put the Books To Film...so on a bored afternoon on a tuesday looking for new releases to buy, and found none worth watching so I bought The Fellowship Of The Ring. I was first pretty amazed by a movie that I had no desire to watch, my wife liked it pretty OK, but after a while we were in deep anticipation of The Two Towers so My daughter and me went to see The it on opening day at the theater and were blown away... even though its hard to enjoy a movie with a very restless 6 year old little girl that cant sit still for 5 minutes.. well anyways I went home after watching the movie and told my wife about it and before you know it we were back in the theater with all three of us mezmerized watching the film.. the part that got my wife the most was the part where Grima and Saruman were in Orthanc and Grima says there is no such force my lord, then they step out onto the balcany to reveal the 10000 strong orc army that Saruman had bred to wipe out the people of Rohan... when they paned from left to right and back my wifes jaw dropped and a tear came to her eye as she knew it would be the end of the Rohan people for sure.. well so she thought,.. and she had a sense that it could have really been history instead of fantasy we were watching... and thats saying a lot for the films since my wife was the most least likely person next to me to watch, love and await the third installment of the film trilogy... we have sat many times together and watched the Fellowship Of The Ring and then The Two Towers in sequence and still we are amazed every time we watch them, she still gets that tear in her eye when she sees the orc army bred to extenguish the lives of the Rohan people... anyway from my wife and me, the two most least likely people to watch the movies and to be turned into true Lord Of The Rings Fanatics is saying a lot about the quality of the movies.... we have become such fans of the movies and the collectables that we have spent thousands of $$$$ buying anything we can get our hot little hands on... our favorite merchandise to collect besides all available versions of the films XXX 2 (have to have a set to watch on my trucks DVD system)is the weapons that have been reproduced to match the films weapons..so far we have all of the series one swords (10 in all, and at $350.00 each retail it takes a while to get them all) anyway The Two Towers has been our favorite movie as of yet and we are waiting to see Return Of The King and will be very sad when there are no more movies coming to theaters,, another very interesting note about my wife and the Rings movies is that she is and has always been a very big fan of the Harry Potter books and movies .. she now prefers to watch Fellowship and Two Towers over Potter......now one last thing we would like to see after the Return Of The King comes out on DVD and then Special Extended Edition DVD is for Peter J. to take and redo all three movies on a special collectors set and add in all the stuff that was left out of the final cut movies that would have made the movies a little closer to the books and then you could sit and load your DVD changer with 5 or 6 discs and watch them all as one film(probably would be 14 hours long but well worth it)all in sequence hah what a wonder that would be wouldnt it .... to watch everything Peter filmed and wanted to be in the films but couldnt because of time restraints... since seeing the first and secong movies and waiting for the third, I have read all three of the books to try and satisfy my hunger for the last movie so I would know somewhat to expect in the third movie but I still cant wait for it...the books are as much wonder to read as the movies are to watch.. so FIVE STARS FOR PETER J and the great actors that made the film what it is today and will always be the benchmark for future fantasy movies as were the books to fantasy literature

Summary: Why so many reviews
Review: I can't understand either how you guys are calling this the best of the three made yet. All you can go off of is word of mouth, the trailers, and what little bit the rings people have said.

The Rings Executive Producer has already said you will see the greatest fight sequence in movie history in Return of the King. Elijah Wood has said this one is better than one and two combined. Sean Astin has said it's the greatest thing he's ever seen and worked on. Thoose are some great comments.

I can't wait to see it. It's easily the most anticpated of the year, and I hope Return of the King cleans out the Oscars this year, because the academy sure has screwed Peter Jackson and the Rings franchise.

If you loved the other Rings films then this one is a must. This one might possibly be one of the greatest films ever made, but we'll just have to wait another 6 weeks.

Summary: The movie that really deserve 5 stars
Review: I am a very frequent movie goer. Many movies have I watched, but mark my word, Never have I been awed by any movies, but The Lord of the rings. I bought all versions of the VCDs and DVDs for both fellowship of the rings and the two towers. And, after watching for I donot know how many times, I still feel the thrill and the suspense of the movie. I think this movies should be rated more than 5 stars! Though many details were taken off in the screen adaptation, still the realization of such grandeur epic is just too wonderful to be missed by anyone who loves fantasy. I was no tolkien fan, but believe me, I am totally swept off my feet when it comes to The lord of the rings. lastly,I just couldnt wait any longer for the last installation of this amazing trilogy.

Summary: THE FINAL CHAPTER...!
Review: This is it, folks! The one we've all been waiting for... THE BIG ENCHILADA! J.R.R. Tolkien's "Return Of The King" is unfortunately the last of the classic LOTR stories & is sure to be the best one in this 3-part movie trilogy. We'll see Frodo & Sam climb to the top of Mt. Doom, Aragorn become crowned a King, and an epic battle between good vs. evil in a HUGE war. Other revelations shall also be revealed so we're all just going to have to wait till December 17, 2003 to see the end of a great saga! I know it's a little TOO early to rate this now, but considering that 'Fellowship' & 'Two Towers' were excellent, this is sure to be even better!
