Summary: Cool Movie
Review: Titanic was really cool. It's a great movie to remember. Everyone should like it and see it. It was the best movie ever. It was sad but true. Kate and Leanardo were good as the romantic lovers in this film.

Summary: Instant Classic
Review: This movie was excellent. Once again, James Cameron astounds us with awesome special effects, a wonderful script, and a touching love story centered around a historical tragedy. This was by far the best love story I have seen and it also has the best ending EVER in a movie! It's definitely worth sitting three and a half hours and it's definitely worth adding to your video collection..

Summary: Visually Astounding
Review: This movie was visually amazing and a wonder to watch, but the one thing that got to me was the dialogue. It was almost laughable. If I hear DiCaprio say "I'm the king of the world" again I'm going to go crazy.

Summary: Drivel of the first order...no wonder it won 11 oscars
Review: There was much hype surrounding Titanic before it was released, probably because it cost 200 million dollars to make. Many thought the film would be a complete flop at the box office, failing to return what it cost to make. Of course, they were proved wrong - how could it be a flop with the world's biggest 'heart throb' starring, as well as every boy's 'pin-up' as the love interest. Cameron certainly knows how to make his money, for the film was made for little else. Little thought or care was evident in the screenplay, as well as a distinct lack of talent. The plot was non-existent, and what little scrags one could find were boring. The film's themes were unoriginal and attitudinising. The acting was dire, cringe-makingly sentimental. For the romance to have worked, the film would have to elicit sympathy for its protagonists. It failed miserably, in fact it made me loathe the characters and stand up and cheer when the ship sank (the fact that the end of the movie was nigh was another reason). The length was another problem: if a movie's bad, at least the producers could do the decency of making it a short film, but not with Cameron, he indulges in the wafts of grotesque sentimentality, as well as a superfluous and untrue depiction of the members of the first class as sewlfish snobs. In fact, it took great dignity for so many of the men in first class to stay behind while their families rowed away without them. Thus the film has no substance, a poor screenplay, flimsy acting, is fearfully inaccurate factually (there was more than one survivor left when the Carpathia arrived) and a mess to watch. No, this film is indeed for the braindead, who have no appreciation for serious, intelligent film-making. It doesn't know where it's going - is it a serious film with an underlying theme, or is it a good, old-fashioned yarn about the demise of the Titanic? In fact, Titanic pretends to be the former, somewhat denouncing the latter. A Night to Remember was a far more digestable film, with an accurate depiction of the proceedings, as well as fine characterisation, excellent performances (Kenneth More) and no social bollocks. My final criticism of Titanic is that the music is perhaps the most woeful I have ever heard. The minute Celine Dion's pathetic, disgusting and sick-mackingly sentimental 'tune' graces your ears, you reach for the sick bag. The music summarises the film; it's no proper film, it's just a money maker. Frivolous, superfluous, boring and down-right bad, this Titanic is loathable. The fact that it got five times as many awards at the Oscars than L.A. Confidential (a stunning film) is disgusting.

Summary: Fine example of Hollywood pap.
Review: The appeal of this movie - and its success - lies with the pre-pubescent teens, and unfortunately, adults with the emotional and intellectual faculties of an immature teen, who saw this movie over and over again. Mind-numbingly vapid and so heavily stylised for the 90s that it bears no resemblance to the actual event - or the era. Sure, one is supposed to suspend their sense of belief when watching a Hollywood movie - but not their sensibilties!

Summary: A heartfelt story of true love with costumes and effects.
Review: Titanic is one of my favorite movies. I love the story of young true love coupled with the beautiful costumes and special effects. Those who feel they must trash the praise the movie has received...me thinks they protest too much.

Summary: Brilliant
Review: We have seen this film many times and love it. The acting is brilliant, especially Ioan Gruffudd( 5th Officer Lowe, mainly because he is Welsh)Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet were also excellent. The direction from James Cameron was also outstanding. This is a film that will be remembered for ever.

Summary: The Titanic Movie Rules.
Review: 4-3-99 When Titanic was in theiters my mom said I probley would not sit for 3 hours. Yesterday my neighbor let us(my brother, My sister,me) borrow the same exact copy as the Titanic Widescreen on this site.Last night we watched Part 1. Today we are watching Part 2. I used to think Leo was ugly. Same thing about Kate. Then I just sat down and watched it and then thought they had some Charitter.I fell in LOVE with Titanic. The only part that was a little inapropreit was when Jack drew Rose naked.

Summary: THE MOST TERRIBLE MOVIE EVER DIRECTED, ACTED & SEEN!
Review: There is a certain limit on how BAD a movie can be. Well, let's just say that Titanic has almost doubled that limit. Oh, you want to buy it. Fine, watch profanity & nudity for 3 hours straight. If your son or daghter asked for it for their birthday or soemthing & that's why you're buying it, STOP!! Don't you want to get The Sound of Music or The King & I? They'll thank you for not getting them a dirty, vulgar movie later on in their lives.
