Summary: Better dan 3, but still a big turn-off!
Review: Better dan three, that's the only good thing one can say aboutthe movie. PEOPLE WHO SAY THIS IS A GOOD MOVIE, OBVIOUSLY HAVEN'T SEENPART 1 OR 2, CAUSE THIS MOVIE IS BAD!!! This movie is so fake, a shark taking revenge?! And another bad thing about the movie is that it's hurts the storyline so much. Please follow my advise: DON'T WATCH IT!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Better than most think.
Review: First of all, yes the shark looked fake in some shots but if you just forget about being a critic for a second and just watch the movie. The acting is actually pretty good. The movie obviously ruined Lorraine Gary's acting career. It probably ruined Lance Guest's. It almost ruined Karen Young's but she is in Daylight so she is revived. Frankly I liked the romance scenes with Ellen and Hobie. Its a side we didn't see of Ellen in the first two films. And I am probably the only one who liked the romantic parts in the first Jaws book. Yes, I do have to admit that Thea got pretty annoying and you actually wanted her to be gobbled up. But I thought it was good to have a cute annoyng little girl to finally make Ellen want revenge. But I do have to say the ending was down right dumb. I can finally see that cheesy cheap effects. They actually used the same footage as in the original for the sharks fate. And also there is one scene that sticks out in my mind that is very unlike sharks. The shark was actually standing on its tail roaring for about 3 seconds.

Summary: C-R-A-P
Review: If that shark was really looking for revenge against people, it should probebly eat the guy that wrote the damn script, for giving JAWS such a bad name. The shark's not even in the movie that much, it stands, it roars...ok, so it roared in the first JAWS as well, but it could of been the shark's stomach, he was hungrey or somethin'...but damn this movie was depressing...This time it's personal??? I think that the script writer was writing about the fact on how all of the JAWS fans around the world would want to get his for f'n up the JAWS name...yep it sure is personal...

Summary: JAWS THE REVENGE
Review: This Stupid Inconphensible sequel brings absoutely nothing from the first film, how can the shark go after mrs. brody (A Boring Lorraine Gary) After killing her son & her husband & hard to believe michael caine starred in this this is a waste of time & money, & i will not see it again a great nomination at the razzies for the worst sequel of this century

Summary: Variant Editions?
Review: I don't know weather it's just in England that theres 2 versions of this movie, one in which Peebles dies and one in which he survives, one version uses the original movies sharks demise(Explanation very welcome). All in all only rated as a 3 by a die hard Jaws fan.

Summary: Jaws the Atrocity
Review: This series establishes the classic paradigm of sequels: Excellent. Adequate. Poor. Abomination. Definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen (and I liked Hudson Hawk). If you're considering purchasing this movie, three words: sharks don't roar.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: CAN YOU BELIEVE MICHAEL CAINE MISSED THE OSCARS FOR THIS?!
Review: When Michael Caine won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Hannah and Her Sisters (1987) he had to miss the ceremony because he was on location in the Bahamas shooting this piece of c**p. The shark looked like a rubber doll. The only redeeming thing about this movie was the POV camera from the shark's dorsal fin. Not something a first-year film student couldn't have thought of, but at least an interesting twist. This movie is yet another example of why Steven Spielberg has said publicly that he sorely regrets not acquiring the sequel/franchise rights to the first "Jaws". "Jaws" may have had its flaws (and it did), but it is "Citizen Kane" compared to its sequels (#'s 3 and 4 especially).

Summary: Good, but it could be better
Review: Pretty good, althought the story needs work, and so does the special effects.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: AWESTRUCK!
Review: This film not only shows what true acting range is, it shows what is lacking in films today, tight, fascninating stories and top notch special effects. This film is an absolute MASTERPIECE. ESSENTIAL TO ANY FILM COLLECTION. Five Stars.

Summary: First Rate! Wow!
Review: What a perfect bon-bon of a film! This is an ultra-special, lovely little slice of sushi of a movie! Yum! I watch it two, sometimes three times a week. Michael Caine rocks! The fish rocks! I also think the seals did a good job.
