Summary: Pierce Brosnan is a clone of Sean Connery.
Review: From the director of Ray Liotta's "No Escape" and The star of TV's "Remmington Steel" comes the greatest Bond Adventure of all time. In 1986, James Bond 007 looses his friend Alec Trevalyan 006 on a mission. 9 years later, Bond is on vacation in France, and he meets a Russian woman named Xenia Onatopp, she with Bond's enemy General Orumorv from 1986 steels a helicopter and they steel a Space weapon disk called GoldenEye. Bond discovers that Alec is invovled with the GoldenEye steeling, Bond teams up with Computer Programmer Natyala Simonova to re-cover GoldenEye and stop Alec from using it for World domination.

Summary: Bond forever!
Review: This movie brought James Bond back to a block buster hit once again! This movie is one of the best James Bond movie ever made! What are you waiting for? Buy it!

Summary: Best Bond since George Lazenby!
Review: I'm sorry but it takes more than a handsome guy and one great stunt to make a good Bond movie. Brosnan brings nothing to the role, no danger, no humor, no character; he's just a walking mannequin in a well-cut suit (why did Dalton leave the series to play Rhett Butler in a TV movie is beyond me). Not only that, the movie lacks a strong archvillain (Famke's fine), a strong soundtrack (the title song notwithstanding) and a strong finale. Both Joe Don Baker and the nerdy cyber whiz-kid are unsufferable burdens, and you never get to see what the car does!

By the way, shouldn't Natalya Whats-her-name and the cybercretin Boris belong to the Russian military? Do you think the Soviet Army would entrust its most secret weapon to a couple of ordinary civilian hackers?

Summary: Bravo to Bond!!
Review: I think that this is one of the best Bonds ever. Its vibrant characters are refreshing after a dearth of strong villains in Dalton's films and ridiculous, unreal villains in Moore's films. Brosnan is a great Bond, because Dalton was too serious and Moore was a pretty boy. Lazenby couldn't act, so I must say Brosnan is the best Bond since Connery.

Summary: Thanks Pierce Brosnan
Review: Okay, thanks to Pierce Brosnan we can still watch great movies for the next 10 years. Now to begin with, OO7 and his partner 006 were on a mission to destroy a nerve gas facility. But all went wrong when 006 was shot in the head by General orumoz. James completed the mission, But sadly, 006 died a.k.a. Alec. Nine years later, The Janus syndicate looms all over Russia. General Orumoz and Xenia onnatop steal a nuclear weapon code named Goldeneye. The only survivor was Natalya Simonova. mi6 believes that The Janus syndicate had something to do with it. They send their Top agent on the job. Their Bond meets up with his old enemy, Valentin Zukufsky. Valentine sets Bond up with Janus. Bond has to face the truth that 006 is alive and well. Not to mention, alec is also the shadowy leader of the Janus syndicate.

While Janus makes an escape, oo7 and Natalya are arrested by Mischkin. Natalya tells Mischkin the truth about General Orumoz. Moments later, Mischkin was murdered by Orumoz, who put the blame on James. But James grabbes a machine gun and plows his way out of their cell into an archives. Where Natalya is captured and put into a car. James Bond uses an army tank to give chase.......................

Summary: Move over Sean Connery & Roger Moore!
Review: In my opinion, no-one could play Bond like Sean Connery. In 1995, my opinion completely changed when GoldenEye came out, starring Pierce Brosnan as the new 007.

GoldenEye is also home to my favourite Bond villian, Xenia Onatopp, former Agent 006 Alec Trevelyan's stunning ally. Xenia crushes victims between her thighs, and would have put Bond to an end twice if it weren't for a sauna hot-plate and a quick plan in the jungle that involved a helicopter, a cable and a tree.

This movie has made me a Bond fan, and as far as I am concerned, no-one can compete with Brosnan's Bond! I look forward to his other upcomming Bond films in the future!

Summary: Brosnan and the film are awesome!!!
Review: James Bond is back! Pierce Brosnan lights up the screen as the new 007 is this action-packed thrill-ride filled with incredicle stunts, gorgeous women, and bad bad guys. Bond, in an effort to find out what happened to the space satellite-weapon, GoldenEye, must battle Russians traitors, and a lethal Russian beauty. It is great fun and excitement throughout, which makes it my second-favorite Bond movie(after Goldfinger).

Summary: Was it a spoof of James Bond Movies?
Review: Dreadful. Anybody who thinks Pierce Brosnan is the best 007 should be shot at dawn! Obviously Connery is the best. Now I'm sorry but not even Sean Bean can survive a 200-foot drop from a satellite dish - and not even 007 can skydive into a plane! I can understand that Bond is the best and so some of the stunts are unbelievable but this is a bit much. Tomorrow never dies is much better.

Summary: GoldenEye is the Best!!!
Review: GoldenEye is the best James Bond movie in my opinion. The action never stops, and their are a lot of charecters that are shown in great detail. Peirce Brosnan was an excellent James Bond in this movie. He almost ranks up their with Connery and Moore.

Summary: Pierce finally becomes sexy James Bond
Review: I think Pierce is the best Bond ever. I brought this video as soon as it came out for sale.

Pierce made me become a die-hard James Bond fan. I never was a die-hard fan before he took the part. But since he took the part, I look forward to seeing all of his James Bond movies at the theatre and on video.

Goldeneye brought a new sensitive Bond to the silver screen.

Pierce's Bond is elegant, but hard-edged. He is a no nonsense Bond. His Bond is not comical like some of the Bonds in the eighties, such as Moonraker, Octopussy, and A View To a Kill.

When they said once you see Brosnan as Bond, you will forget all about Sean and Roger in the role they were not kidding.

His Bond has that deep, soft, sexy voice.

I think Pierce taking this role has given him more of a chance to proove himself as a sexy leading man than he ever did before.

He was known for his TV movies, mini-series, and of course for Remington Steele, but Bond has given him a chance to proove that he can be taken as a serious actor.

I just love him as Bond. His Bond shows a vulnerability and warmth, and I think that is important for these times.

I just love him. Move over Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan is James Bond.
