Summary: CHRISTOPHER WALKIN--NEED I SAY MORE
Review: SUICIDE KINGS WAS AN EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING FILM. I WENT IN ONLY KNOWING IT WAS A WALKEN FILM, AND CAME OUT QUITE PLEASED. DENNIS LEARY WAS FUNNY, THE KIDNAPPERS, A LITTLE ROUGH,BUT INTERESTING, AND CHRISTOPHER WALKEN--NEED I SAY MORE. WALKEN WAS BACK TO HIS OLD SELF, THE MOB FIGURE WITH AN ATTITUDE, HIS WIT UNCOMPARABLE. A NICE CHANGE FROM EXCESS BAGAGE OR MOUSE HUNT. NICE TO HAVE YOU BACK CHRIS.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Exellent! Exciting and funny. Great cast!
Review: Exciting, interesting, and witty mystery, of a similar genre as Usual Suspects. Chris Walken is wonderful; Henry Thomas surprised me. Loved it!

Summary: Brilliant!
Review: An overall outstanding performance by a group of guys brilliantly cast into a dark comedy about a kidnapping gone awry. Great performances from Denis Leary and of course Christopher Walkin, as well as those preppy-guys that kidnap Walkin. Great casting job for a clue-esque movie.

Summary: Highly overrated
Review: The film Suicide Kings takes a promising premise--a bunch of rich brats kidnapping a mob boss--and destroys it with unlikable, poorly developed characters, tediously repetitive humor (Denis Leary's stingray boots), and a ridiculous ending couched as a clever plot twist. The only bright spots were the understated performance by Walken as the mob boss and the fittingly dark setting. Otherwise, the acting, dialogue, and story were highly overrated.

Summary: INCREDIBLE WALKEN, HILARIOUS LEARY
Review: Peter O'Fallon, the director of Party of Five and various TV movies takes a step in a completely opposite direction, with this dark, crime comedy mystery. Christopher Walken, a mob boss, is kidnapped by 5 rich, otherwise innocent college kids. Walken is held hostage for 2 million dollars needed for the ransom of oe of the kids sisters, and the plot thickens. A the movie progresses, you meet Denis Leary, Walkens hilarious mob lieutenant. Walken senses the boys weaknesses, and tricks them in various ways, bettering his own position. The differences between all of the kidnappers are hilarious, and tear them apart. This film shows a little bit of mob parody as well, with 2 other kidnappers who can't stop bragging, and Denis Leary, who holds the whol thing together. Strongly reminds me of reservoir dogs, directed in Tarantino's style.

Summary: The Best Dark Comedy Around
Review: I'm not a huge fan of dark comedies but this one was awesome. The acting was great, the story was gripping and original. It didn't get tied down in being dark or being a comedy. It just concentrated on having a good plot and telling the story smoothly. Dennis Leary gives a great comedic edge to his performance. Christopher Walken gives one of his best performances. The movie adds one twist after another too keep you guessing up until the very end. One of the best movies I've seen in a while.

Summary: Gimme the busket!
Review: This movie is definitely worth seeing. Funny and suspensful with lots of twists. A great cast giving great performances. Dennis Leary, Jay Mohr, and the kid who used to be on "Rosanne" were especially good. Two performances that might get over looked are the actors who portrayed the kidnappers. There is not a weak link in this movie. Very entertaining.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One of the better less known crime action comedies around.
Review: From the plan kidnapping...to the ironic ending...you stay on your toes durning the whole movie! It's a real page turner
