Summary: "The 6th Day"
Review: The 6th Day (PG-13) ****/5

Directed by: Roger Spottiswoode.
Synopsis: When a man comes home to discover he has been cloned he must wage war, and unravel a conspiracy to regain his life.

Review: Somebody clones Arnold and he comes home to find the clone with his family, and bad guys hunting him down. He must find out who cloned him, why, and get his life back. This film is marketed as a Schwarzenegger action film, and while it is that I read a little more into it. I loved the more dramatic moments of this. Duvall and his wife subplot was great, as well as the dangers of cloning points, and Arnold's love for his family. The cloning sets and special effects were superb. I also loved the dark comedy moments of this film. Now this is how you make A Schwarzenegger flick! Arnold is great as the cloned father who wants his life back, Duvall is fantastic, Rapaport is great sidekick, Goldwyn is a decent bad guy, and Rooker is cool as the lead henchman. Roger Spottiswoode is on the money directing. He paces the film well and gets a lot from his actors. As for the DVD? Good times here it contains plenty of special features. Sure there's a special edition out, but this is one film where no special edition is needed. This edition stands on its own.

Summary: Arnie is back.. well, sort of
Review: STORY: I won't be very specific so here are the main details:Arnold Schwarzenegger is Adam Gibson. As he returns from work on his birthday he finds his family celebrating with a clone of his (unaware) and he wants to find out who's responsible at any costs.

CAST: Well what can we say about Anie? Has he ever been convincing? Did we ever not laugh because of that charming Austrian accent of his. But he manages to give at least some credibility to his character. The supporting cast however is excellent. One has to mention Robert Duvall whose acting brings a lot of intensity to the film.

SCRIPT: This is somewhat of an intelligent Action film because it opens a lot of questions about cloning and offers a great deal of hilarious black humor. Although the pointy finger and the family aspect seems a bit forced it is an exciting story with many different aspects to it.

DIRECTION: Well here is the films major problem. Roger Spottiswood, whose Bond adventure "Tomorrow never dies" I didn't like very much opens the movie with a Football Game where he copies shots from Oliver Stone's "Any given Sunday". The action sequences in general are rather badly shot. The pace seems too slow and the fast editing confuses more than it creates tempo. There is some skip-framing which works pretty well but besides that the direction is really kind of clumsy and lacks originality and speed. Which is pretty tragic for an acionthriller.

THE DVD: Since the film didn't gross very much, the DVD isn't filled with special features. There are some infomercials which are funny to look at but.. hey, that's not very interesting, is it? And then therte's the isolated score with commentary by composer Trevor Rabin. I do own the score CD and I absolutely adore it but Trevor talks during the cues and not only between them so you cannot really enjoy the music.

ALL IN ALL: an entertaining Thriller, with great plot but average action sequences. Worth a look allright.

Summary: 2 Arnies?? Its like a 2 for 1 deal!!
Review: I thought this movie was stupid when it first camem out. Who wouldn't, its about Arnie getting cloned. But after seeing it, I realised I was wrong. This movie is cool. Its about arnie being hunted down by assasins becuz he found out they clone people. The assasins must kill him so no one else will find out.
This is cool for all sci-fi/action fans. Its not arnies best but it is still good.

Summary: TOP NOTCH ARNIE ACTION
Review: Adam (Schwarzenegger) is a helicopter pilot in the not too distant future. Cloning is still a hot topic issue and he comes home one day to find that another him is in the household. Why this has happened and what he can do to stop it are all part of the bizarre plotline.

The movie scores big where it is supposed to. The action sequences are great and the effects hold their own. Arnold does the usual job of carrying the film both with his muscle and his corny one liners. I am a big Schwarzenegger fan so I enjoyed it for the eye candy that is was.

Word of warning. This is not a thinking man's movie. There is no overwhelming dramatic acting here, even by the likes of supporting actors Robert Duvall and Michael Rappaport. The plot line is step by step and the ending is as transpartent as Saran Rap. But the film overall was an extemely enjoyable action flick and the video and sound are great. It entertains and any action fan will love it.

Summary: Very Underrated!
Review: I really enjoyed this movie after I watched it again. I remember seeing it a long time ago and hating it. I don't see what makes people hate this movie so much.

The characters are nice. Arnold is really cool and is a great guy. You will probably like the cast. The badguy does a good job. He is evil. Arnold is pretty cool. The action does a fair job of being fast-paced. I enjoyed it. Enjoyable. Thats how I would describe this movie. Very Enjoyable.

Summary: the govenor vs. clones
Review: Arnold, the govenor has gone threw it all, from fighting the devil, to being the terminator and conan the destroyer but this time he faces the evil clones that Robert Duvall and Tony Goldwyn make. good action with some funny scenes involving two Arnolds at the same time. this clone movie is a notch better than Attack of the clones, which Arnold would of layed the smack down on their asses.

Summary: A movie that is not a clone of another.
Review: The 6th Day is great. The plot is intriguing. Adam ? (Arnold Schwrzeneger) is a family man. His birthday is suppose to be joyful until his dog dies. His wife wants him to go and get the dog cloned, but he objects. When he comes home from work, he realizes the family is singing happy birthday when he's not there! Inside is his clone, and along with his wife, daughter, and cloned dog!!! This is a great movie to rent for a Saturday night with twists and turns as well as tons of action. Check it out!

Summary: COOL
Review: I know cloning humans stupid but this film is awesome. Arnold once again delivers a good action movie. He is Adam, a man who was cloned by mistake when a company thought he was someone else. Now the company who cloned him must kill him to hide the evidence. This movie is awesome, filled with gun battles, car chases, and intense helicpter scenes. It's great!

Summary: A smart action film!
Review: How refreshing it is to see a sci-fi film actually taking the science behind it seriously. Aside from seeing how the future might look (I kept thinking of those AT&T commercials from the 80's only to realize most of the stuff in that commercial is available now) I think there were some interesting thoughts on the subject of cloning. If we could stop the world from going hungry from cloning fish and other livestock and replace organs that have failed, where do we draw the line on cloning?
This was a good film that was slighted more than was necessary.
