Review: I can't believe the other reviewers who said this is a good movie. I suspect Treach and his mom wrote some of the reviews. The storyline was bad, the acting was bad, the dialogue was bad and even the fight scenes were bad. Come on now, there was one scene where Treach was breakdance shooting with his gun. And that's not even the worst part of the movie. Don't waste your time unless you could use a good laugh.

Review: I Had great expectations for this movie, but it wasn't even half of what I expected.
For the first the paste of the movie is way to fast, there is no time for thinking becouse there is always someone talking or something happening the director really should learn about the weight of silence.I thought it would be a cool action flick like THE BIG HIT (Mark Whalberg, Lou Diamond Philips) but it was not.
The manuscript is poorly written, and they should have slowed the movie down so it would be about 100 minutes instead of 80. Treach did excellent work in the movie FIRST TIME FELON but in this one he's not as good. I think the movie would have been a whole lot better if ICE CUBE did it instead becouse Treach does not have the self-distance that ICE CUBE brings to the cinema. To sum it all up, the movie could have been a whole lot better if they didn't try to make it a non-stop-action-flick and slowed it down, and maybe changed actors.

Review: I now feel dumber after watching this movie, the only reason i give it even one star is because you have to, and maybe because the music was good. the acting in this movie is terrible, most of the movie is just them trying to do ... stunts & swearing a lot. i wanted to see this movie so bad, i thought this would be the type of movie i like, i have liked all the other types like this, i saw the ads in the source, i read stuff about the movie & i couldnt wait to see it, now i wish i hadnt of wasted 87 minutes of my time to watch .... treach... great rapper, wasnt too bad of an actor, wasnt the worst part of the movie, the one thing i couldnt stand was how corny it was. treach's (bishop) boss in the movie was a corny-... white man who wanted to be like martin luther king. this kind of ... should not even be put out on shelves. when i rented it i had a choice between this one or the other movie i wanted to see, Undisputed, i still havent seen that and i wish i would've rented that instead, if you want my opinion, do not waste your time, its not worth it, this movie is a bunch of ... that is put out just to kill braincells. the one good thing about the movie was that the music in it was great, if your a naughty by nature fan, a lil jon fan, or just a rap fan in general i would suggest (trying to find) the soundtrack. it had great music, but dont waste your time with the movie.

Review: LOVE AND A BULLET poked fun at the somewhat structure of syndicate life by using Malik Bishop, played by Treach, as a hitman who succeeds from street killer to mafia life after being recruited by a kingpin who uses him to eliminated those who stand in the way of high-powered associates. This film was action-packed and also held a dose of humor at what life is like with "the family" and who get promoted to side of the big man. Another plus was Malik's commentaries and how he found amazement in what some people will kill for. There were some unexpected moves within the movie, which added to the conflict, and the romance with the beautiful and dangerous Hylene added dimension. The end battle with the syndicate over an act of conscience was almost like watching a video game, it was so over the top, but then, so was this movie. Treach's moody, bad brother character whose received a change of heart was a welcome sight to what could have been a one-dimensional character, and made what could have been a one-dimensional movie into a film that was more than the sum of it's parts.

Review: Ramsy and Kantz have soaked up movie influences that obviously go back decades.But it is to Tarantino's generation,(my generation) that these funny and energetic moviemakers belong.
A fun genre piece.

Review: Ramsy and Kantz have soaked up movie influences that obviously go back decades.But it is to Tarantino's generation,(my generation) that these funny and energetic moviemakers belong.
Its not just "influence" that you see, but out and out theft. From "Reservoir Dogs", opening ally walk, to "Goodfellas" cooking, gun selling, helocoptor watching sequence, these guys are caught red handed. but it works. It all hits as refreshing and some what new, although clearly falling into the Q.T. world.
You should also marvel at the fact that these guys made the whole thing for about 300,000. With that minimal budget, and (according to them) hurried shooting schedules, they have created a movie far superior to so many other boring action films. Compare this film to "Gone in Sixty Seconds, or BadBoys I&II, and you should be impressed.
As far as the acting goes, it's very good for an inexperienced (mostly) cast. I think Treach(the rapper) could have a real future in action films, he carries this one well with an almost constant running narrative, which is engaging and funny. Plus ladies he's willing to do full frontal. The scene chewing thief in this film however is Sam Scabber, as the "disgruntled, older, face like a fist) hitman. His performance will leave you wanting to see more of him.
All in all a fun action flick. Enjoy
