Summary: Bad Boys Rule
Review: In this move Will smith is at his best. With him and Marten Lawrence togather this film not only has comdey. But lots of Action and Adventure. I thought the special effects were good. Especial when in the begining with the hotel scene. That had the ladeys with one of the bad guys and the good looking one getting killed. I would refur one to this move who likes lots of action and comdey in a move.

Review: Don Simpson and legendary action producer Jerry Bruckheimer who almost surpasses Joel Silver in what he put's on the screen,
and at this time first time director Michael Bay who also helmed
the much bigger and from the looks badder sequel Bad Boys 2.Get's
down and dirty for Bad Boys the first flim of this series wich
teams Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.100 million in confiscated
heroin has been hijacked from Miami Police the pride bust of DEA
and Narc agent's Mike Lowry(Will Smith)who is a stylish single
and full of money and his partner Marcus Burnett(Martin Lawrence)
,a family man who want's quality family time could not be any more
oppisite , but if they don't work together to find out about the
whereabouts of the missing heroin it will shut down the narcotics
of the Miami Police Department but when a drug kingpin played by
Tcheky Karyo kills a freind of Mike Lowry's with a witness spying
on the murder it becomes personal for Mike.But they must do all
they can to protect Julie(Tea Leoni) before she is killed by the
kingpins henchmen even if Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett trade
places to protect her but they will also have to fight a drug war
in order for them to recover the stolen drugs and save Julie's life. An explosive first entry in the series in hopfully a trilogy wich would be very weird on Bruckheimer's part of taking the
advantage of making his first trilogy.Explosive action , car
chases , unbeleivable stunts and the like wise teaming of Will
Smith and Martin Lawrence who without there chemistry added to
the film would be no sequel and just and ordinary action film
but there Mel Gibson and Danny Glover like appeal makes this film set afire as one of the best films Bruckheimer has made
Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer would only team one more
time for The Rock before Simpson's untimely death , the highly
anticipated bigger and badder sequel is due out this friday
an awsome action film.

Review: This movie was awesome, the action in this movie was incredible, and the Director Micheal Bay did a great job in this one like the rest of his movies but this one takes the cake. I really had alot of fun, Martin Lawrence is AWESOME he rocks in this movie, his and Will Smith's chemistry were wonderful, THIS MOVIE IS A MUST SEE, I can't wait until part 2 come's out( BAD BOYS 2 OUT JUL,18).

Summary: Nice, But Tristar Needs to 'SUPERBIT' this title!
Review: Though the film is extremely entertaining and the documentary is also enjoyable, the studio needs to release a 'SUPERBIT' version (higher quality video standard that utilizes space on the disc normally reserved for special features for picture quality instead) of this title like they have for 'Vertical Limit', 'Dracula', and 'Johnny Neumonic' to truly earn the 5th star. Unfortunately, Bad Boys looks grainy on a 65" rear projection Widescreen TV when compared to high quality mastered titles like Star Wars, LOTR, and The Rock: The Critereon Edition and Superbit titles, which still looks razor sharp at this size.

Summary: Riddled with cliches but still entertaining.
Review: The plot in this movie is absolutely nothing spectacular and is VERY basic. There are also plot holes all over the place. The constant arguing between Smith and Laurence also gets on my nerves and spoils the slight chemistry that they have. But Michael Bay's direction puts a glossy shine on an otherwise cruddy movie. But he made the movie in 1.85:1. Why? The plot, for what it's worth, concerns a drug dealer (Tchecky Kayro in a virtually nameless role) who slays an idiot member of his gang. Beautiful Julie Mott (Tea Leoni) witnesses the slaying and is marked for death . She calls the cops but for a dumb reason will only talk to Mike Lowrey (Will Smith). Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) is the only person there who can take the call and assumes the role of Mike in order to take Julie into `in-home' protective custody. Why he doesn't just reveal to her right away that he told a little white lie only to get her out of harms way...I dunno. Perhaps it is because it's the only plot element that the legion of writers could abuse to inject the slightest amount of comedy and drag out an 85-minute to 2 hours. It irritates beyond comprehension and the film should really have been dumped in the direct to video bucket instead of having a cinema release. But as long as the film masquerades as a proper Hollywood movie everything will be okay. And it's to Michael Bay's credit that he's managed to pull this off. Without him the movie would be long-forgotten. A Hollywood movie it certainly is. It took 10 years for Bad Boys to be made and many changes to the script took place in that time. It was originally set in New York and was to star John Lovitz and Dana Carvey as the leads. It was shopped around Hollywood, chewed-up and spat out by many studios, until Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckhiemer picked it up and thought that turning it into a shiny and bright action adventure could redeem it. The budget wasn't too high and Bay did as much as he could considering the tiny amount of money he had (even spending part of his own salary) and did an impressive job too. The action scenes certainly make up for the lulls in the plot. Too bad there is not enough of them. The van chase, shootout in the lobby and final battle are way cool and Mark Mancina's score is incredible. Too bad the score isn't available on CD but there is 5.1 isolated score on the DVD. Everyone should see Bad Boys at least once as there will be something for everyone but do not expect a great or original plot. There isn't one, but the sequel is in production right now and Michael Bay is directing again. There are a truckload of features on this DVD. The widescreen picture is looking good and the 5.1 soundtrack and isolated score are way cool.

Review: This is one of the best movies you will ever watch.It has everything,laughfter,sadness, and most of all action.the first time I watched it, I thoght it was awsome but the second and third time I watched it became one of my all time favroit movies because I understood it a little more. Will smith and Martin Lawrence (which are my favroit acters) were outstanding. I got this DVD about 3 weekes ago and Ive seen it about twnty times and Im still not bored of it. I have seen almost every movie for Will smith and Martin Lawrence and this is the best acting Ive seen from both. Best of all there both togeher and they make an awsome team.

Review: This movie is boring and it [is bad] but a little (and I mean a little) action scenes are OK. The 1st time I saw this movie I thought it [was bad]. My brother buys the special edtion for a good price so he made me watch it again and it was too boring. So later my brother just keeps putting it on and he got sick of it and put it away. I can't believe they made this movie. I give this DVD 2 thumbs down way down. This movie is the worst Michael Bay movie ever. I can't believe they are going to make a Bad Boys 2 but if I see Bad Boys 2 I hope it will be way better than the first one. So please son't see or buy this movie you will be sorry if you see this movie. But you could rent it just to see how it is but you will be sorry.

Review: This movie is amazing. The explosion scenes are amazing. But you know Michael Bay always had to go out with a bang. The plot isnt that good, but Lawrence and Smith make you forget all about it. They are so hilarious. These two are incredible on the screen together. I recommend this movie to people who just want a thrill ride full of laughter and not much of a plot.
