Summary: The Last Big Mac
Review: The third and final in the Highlander series is ok but after the first movie the the rest and the tv series made no sense. They could have made the other movies and tv shows better. The story lines had no sense of themselves. I think they just produced the movies without any thought to satisfy the hunger of the cult following the first movie produced. So after the first movie the rest were just a fast food version of the original.

Summary: The best of three!
Review: I think this one is the most succesfull one in three of them. Quite interesting that the continuing ones are generally made to make money and never reaches the succes of the first one such as Rocky, First Blood but this movie is an exception. There is a lyric athmosphere in the film and the picture is great. If you are collector like me you can get all three of them, if not you can skip the second and get this and the first one of the legendary movie series.

Summary: There can be only one (or three, or more...)
Review: As a HUGE fan of both Sean Connery and Lambert, as thus the first film, I have followed this series through to its almost ridiculous tangents and the seemingly endless amounts of times that the "Champion" can defeat the "last" of the immortals again and again and again...HOWEVER, while this film has faults, I love this series and could watch it repeatedly. The groovy thing about the DVD is that it comes in the Widescreen format, which is always a bonus. If you live for Highlander....BUY IT!

Summary: Missed the Queen soundtrack
Review: I'm a big fan of the movies and the TV series, so I found this one entertaining, but were disapointend for not finding the Queen sountrack, I believe they are the soul of the concept of Highlander, anyone knows why isn't here?In the matter of the director, this guy Morahan is one superb music video director, as was Mulchahy, the director of the first 2 movies.

Summary: Not bad...could have been better.
Review: I have to say that, after seeing this movie for the first time, I noticed it did not live up to the original Highlander..or Highlander 2(director's cut). But...I thought it was an entertaining film, especially since I'm a fan of the films and t.v. series! I think Mario Van Peebles made a great villian. C. Lambert, as always, was great. I think if they had gotten the director of the first two, it would have been a more exciting picture..since he is more familiar with the concept of Highlander.

Summary: This movie is a classic!!
Review: Judging by the spelling and the lack of thought put into most of the other reviews, one can only assume they were written by third graders. This movie is a classic! Mario Van Peebles is brilliant, and Christoper Lambert is just plain awesome! I do agree it is a good idea to at least see the first movie, to get a sense of what is going on, but it's not hard to follow. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves a good fantasy flick. And to the reviewers who put this movie down, perhaps you should stick to reviewing movies like South Park.

Summary: Stick with the first one
Review: I've only seen a few episodes of the TV series, and I've seen both sequels. I have this to say: STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL. It was fine until people tried to capitalize on its cult success and tried to make sequels. If you're not prepared for a bigtime headache, created by trying to figure out the continuity of the show and the films, then just stick with the original. It's much better.

Summary: Remake of the first film that's quite enjoyable, really.
Review: 'Never seen Highlander 2. Not sure I want to, judging from the reviews. But I like the first film -its a brilliant idea after all-, and this, really, is just a remake: the story is pretty much identical when you get down to the nuts and bolts. OK, it has its bad points: how the hell did anouther Highlander appear after McLeod has won the prize?, and it takes a little while to get going, like the first, and far more should have been made of the wonderful Highlander concept. But the cinematography is excellent; the direction passable, if somewhat cliche'd, the leads are quite good, the special effects dazzling, and the film has a superb soundtrack -its worth getting for the wonderfully evocacative shots of the Scotish highlands backed by Canadian singer Loreena McKennitt's unutterably beautiful song 'Bonney Portmore' alone. Highlander 3 will never be a cinema classic -unlike the first, but its great, lightweight escapism for all that

Summary: enjoyable (the first time)
Review: this movie is pretty enjoyable actually. still not as good as the original but much better than highlander 2. the nude scene is cool too. if you are a highlander fan whose only seen the original but want to see the sequals, take my advice, dont. they only hurt the first highlander. still, if you saw highlander2 then you might as well go see this one. its better

Summary: OK
Review: This movie did nothing for me. I will always be a fan of the first but not this one. Highlander 2 on the other hand. I really enjoyed Highlander 2. But for those of you who don't like it check out the Highlander 2 The Director's Cut Renagade Version. It makes more scence. then the The Quicking. Getting back to this movie. I thought it also was very violent. After Kane kills a man he likes the blood off his sword. He is a sick cookie in this movie. Stay away please it disturbed me.
