Summary: This Movie Rocks
Review: I loved this movie when I was a teen and I still love this move as an adult. The DVD realese of Heavy Metal is here and all the extras make it awesome. The missing scene, the photo archives and filmaker comentary are great. I wish I was still 17 and at the midnight movies with my friends but I can just invite them over and watch the better quality and full version at home on my big screan instead. Don't miss out on this realese. Alli

Summary: BUY IT... BUY IT... BUY IT... YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Review: I loved this film back in the day, and I love the DVD even more... in fact I went ahead and created my own website as a tribute to this epic. The Original pencil drawn rough cut is incredible... as well as the documentary. Take the time to explore the more than 5 hours of goodies that's in this DVD... including the "alternative" Lochnar story (the merrygoround!). The art stills are brilliant too. You don't have to have a chip on your shoulder and say "anime only please" to enjoy this film... IT'S AMAZING!

Kong out!

Summary: HEAVY,HEAVY METAL
Review: This movie rates 5 stars with one very evident aspect of it being the biggest reason---atmosphere. This animated classic is HEAVY,HEAVY on mood. A definate midnight matinee catagory head flick.

Summary: HEAVY METAL: TAKE A RIDE!!
Review: Screenplay adaption of the sci-fi/fantasy magazine that bears its name. Brilliant animation with an equally impressive soundtrack. Couple that with the voices of JOHN CANDY, EUGENE LEVY and HAROLD RAMIS (SCTV ALUMNUS) and you have the makings of a brilliant film.

Summary: HEAVY METAL: TAKE A RIDE!
Review: Screenplay adaption of the cult sci-fi/fantasy magazine that bears its name. Splendid animation with an equally impressive accompanying soundtrack. A film which brings back many fond memories of my adolescence. Also be aware that the majority of VOICE actors in this film were comprised of SCTV ALUMNI!! e.g. EUGENE LEVY, JOHN CANDY, etc. This film is a must for those of you who grew up reading the magazine.

Summary: The best film in history 100%
Review: This is the best film in the history of moviemaking. If you are a person that likes cartoons, but wishes that they looked more real, this is the best movie that you will ever see. It is also one of the last REAL HANDDRAWN antimated films, handrawn all the way through. I would definatly buy this film. The stereo surround sound also kicks. Igive this film a 1000,000% rating, as being the best film ever made, period.

Summary: THE WORST FILM IN HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: This movie is a masterpiece. I just wish it was longer. I couldent get enough of this movie. The animation is great, the music....for its time was wicked and the story is amazing. Den is the best story and Ard is funny as hell. Its really a great movie. But the reason I gave it a 1 star rating was the fact that in the scene with Harry Canyon and the chick, when they talk about the Orb, the colour sort of twitched...So on account of that, this is the worst movie ever made. Sorry.
