Summary: This was a great Bond movie
Review: Although this isn't isnt' in the League of "Diamonds are Forever" or "Moonraker", this sure beats "Tommorow never Dies", "On her majesty's secret service", and "License to Kill". Great Villains. Aurich Goldfinger, and his Henchman, Oddjob make this movie a supreme.

Summary: RECREATES ORIGINAL THEATRICAL EXPERIENCE
Review: Only the sound quality is not comparable to more modern movies - probably due to master audio limitations. However, the DVD when viewed on a 50 inch projection via S jack - has extraordinary sharpness and color - faithfully recreating the original movie experience - once only available for those fortunate enough to have seen this movie in its original form back almost 35 yrs ago.

Let the critics rave about FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE as an art form. Sorry but GOLDFINGER is the essence of James Bond. In fact - GOLDFINGER athough number 3 in the lineup - is the breakaway hit that made the James Bond Series a world wide phenomenon.

When Jill Matterson (Shirley Eaton), perched high above the Fontainbleu Hotel swimming pool, - says to Bond "and who are you?" and Connery replies "Bond, James Bond" - THAT IS BOND in all its glory.

More than a movie - extraordinary entertainment and just plain fun.

Summary: Connery Comes Into His Own
Review: Sean Connery makes Bond his own in this entry. The one-liners are aplenty here, and Bond is more relaxed than in the previous Bond films. Another recurring theme introduced here is Q's annoyance at Bond's lack of respect for his gadgets. Yet another theme introduced fully here(hinted at in From Russia With Love) is Bond's fickle nature. We can count four girls he has taken an interest in here. Gert Frobe makes a great villain, and his sidekick Oddjob is classic with his deadly bowler hat. The most classic scene in this film is when Bond is on a table, with a laser headed toward the family jewels.

Summary: the best
Review: This movie goes beyond movie making itself! This is what 35mm was made for. The best spy thriller of the 007 series. Sean Connery, like Hercules, is magnificent-almost is unforgettable as the Aston Martin DB. SPECTACULAR! Goerte Frobe as Goldfinger is villianism itself as Katie Couric is to perkyism. Oddjob puts David Carradine of Kung Fu to shame. Pussy Galore makes Pamela Lee look like a 12 year old boy. So sit back have a diet pepsi and some Jiffy Pop and enjoy! l

Summary: The best Bond film ever.
Review: This is clearly the best bond film ever made. When evil Goldfinger and his man-servant Odd Job decide turn Fort Knox into a bank, this shows that not only does Goldfinger have a love for gold but is a genius at crime. Odd Job has a hat that is razor-bladed solid steel and cuts people's heads off. Bond gets captured and his car is destroyed. In this classic film, which will be remembered for generations to come, Sean Connery is the best that he has ever been and better than ever, If you haven't seen it yet,see it because I'm sure you'll love it.

Summary: BOND IS JOKING
Review: Third in the Bond list GOLDFINGER is directed by Guy Hamilton who replaces Terence Young, director of DR. NO and FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE. It's interesting to remark an evolution in the personage of Bond ( the touch of Hamilton, I presume ) who appears more human and less cynical in GOLDFINGER. In fact, " M" has to intervene quickly in order to put Bond in the right track again. But James Bond likes to joke as if Connery and Hamilton had already said all it was to say about the figure of Bond. So, there are a lot of private jokes in this movie, the better being the scene in the bed ( Bond with a Marilyn Monroe clone ) while the radio reporter is just saying that the President is very pleased... A lot of scenes filled with sexual metaphors bring an agreeable sense of lightness to the audience. It's not as good as the first two Bond movies but it's still alright with three or four scenes worthy to appear in a Bond Anthology. A DVD for Pussy Galore. NB: It is to be noted that MGM has done a great job with these three movies.

Summary: THE BEST JAMES BOND MOVIE!!!
Review: DEFINELY THE BEST JAMES BOND MOVIE! ODD JOB IS REALLY FUNNY!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Awesome James Bond movie!
Review: This is an excellent action movie. James Bond (Sean Connery) becomes trapped in an evil plot to gather gold and then A-Bomb Fort Knox. Featuring neat villans and James Bond's cunning, this movie is a blast!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: "Goldfinger" is Bond at his best; the series' finest film.
Review: "Goldfinger" offers us the best of everything: the best Bond (Sean Connery, in his best performance as 007); the best villain, Auric Goldfinger, with the best plan: namely, setting off an atomic bomb in the bowels of Fort Knox, destroying Western economy for decades and increasing the value of his own hoard of gold. Oddjob (Harold Sakata) is the best of the villain henchmen seen in the series, with his deadly derby hat. Bond's Aston Martin DB-5 ("With modifications," as Q so eloquently understates) is the best of all the Bond cars to date, as well as the most stylish. Honor Blackman is irresistable as Pussy Galore, with the most obviously suggestive of all the Bond girl names. Along with "Dr. No" and "From Russia, with Love," "Goldfinger completes the pantheon of the three best films in the series.
