Summary: This guy had potential .....
Review: This actor had potential as an aciton hero. He worked hard to come from Belgium and stablish himself in the movie industry, with a lot of merit. But, soon after, he developed an incredible skill top pick up horrible screenplays, this "CYBORG" being one of them. Made in 1989, this is one of the lowest points of his career, a totally brainless, ultra-violent ( not against violence in films - they just have to have some purpose !! )and bad acted movie. Forget this ones and you will still be able to like the others Van Damme movies.

Summary: Van-Damage Saves the Future!
Review: Jean Claude Van-Damage is bombastically effective in a post-apocalyptic future where starvation and disease are plaguing the last handful of human survivors. While scientists are close to discovering a cure for the plague that is ravaging the country, Gibson Rickenbacker proves to be a badass kick-boxer (of course) who leads a ragtag group to Atlanta (where else?) to obtain info necessary for the cure. Ah, but the road to salvation is fraught with bad guys to fight! Karate CHOP!

Summary: Ten years later and it's still one of his best.
Review: There seems to be two types of people here: Those that love Van Damme and those that hate him. If you are a Van Damme fan and you still haven't seen this one, shame on you. This is definately one of his best. While the story is pretty basic and the film low budget this is not only a Van Damme classic but a cult classic film. If you're not a fan, however, then you're probably not going to like this one any better than his other films. But come on, seriously, I don't see how anyone could call this the worst movie ever. Apparently they haven't seen too many films. 'Cause believe me, this one ain't as bad as it's being made out to be. I know more people that like CYBORG than don't. So if you're a fan what are you waiting for? This is Van Damme in top form.

Review: This has to be Van Dammes best movie.Ive watched it over 10 times literally i still cant get enough of it.Non stop action and good scenes, this ranks up to one of the best movies ive seen and probably will ever see. Buy this movie if your a Van Damme fanatic if you want more Van Damme i suggest you buy double impact that was just about aa good as this one

Review: If you watch this as a comedy, you'll give it 5-star, because you will laugh so much with the absurd sequences, the bad acting, the outrageously bad scrrenplay, the lousy special effects, that you'll really enjoy yourself. But if you rent (or buy() this one thinking it to be a good action movie by An once great action star, you'll really fell betrayed by the producers,; you'll be angry.

Review: Van Damme is like one of those old rock bands with a legion of fans. The band is finished, their creativity gone, but, with every new release, the fans hope this will be their come back, but nothing happens: the new CD is worst than ever. This is what is happening with Van Damme, altough he made better movies than "CYBORG" after shooting this garbage. The movie is so horrible that defies analysis.

Review: This is simply one of the biggest garbage they have ever put on film! Everything is ridiculous here, the set (low budget!), Van Damme (as always). The ending is fun, when some bad guys appears. They seem to have been taken directly from a gymnasium, where they probably wrre lifting weights, so bad is their acting! Horrible!

Summary: Entertaining Fight Flick
Review: Okay, so the characters are all named guitar brands, and the acting, especially Jean-Claude Van-Damme's sidekick is pretty poor, but this is a great post-apocalyptic little western-styled martial arts flick.If you liked Soldier (with Kurt Russell), and also don't mind low-budget post-apocaplyse styled movies, this one is a little gem. With extra-violent fight scenes which was startling to me on first viewing, this one has become a sort of cult film for me. I love to watch this film on a day I don't really wish to think too hard and want to relax and be entertained. I'm not really big a Van-Damme fan myself, but this one is a good one.

Review: This movie is an excellent movie, but not because of the acting. It has some of the most amazing fight scenes that looked real. Some movies have good choreography but the fights look fake. Not the case here. One of Van Damme's better efforts, and leave it up to me, his best.

Review: This movie has alot of fight scenes, and Van Damme does a fine performance in his acting. It is Van Damme fighting against the Villians who want a backward world. I highly recommend this movie to any male or female. This movie is action packed!
