Summary: WONDERFUL TOO KOOL!
Review: JTT is the best actor in the world, so naturaly this movie is good too, but want to see a really good movie with JTT, view "I'll Be Home For Christmas! I just like to see JTT, anyway doesn't matter what the movie is like at all!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Brad could do better......
Review: Not a bad film, but it could have been better. I agree with the viewer from New York; JTT was the wrong person to play Tom Sawyer. And Brad Renfro's talent was completely wasted in this movie---he was far, far better in "The Cure".

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Cast not too good; hardly good for kids
Review: Rachael leigh cook as Becky Thatcher? Not too good, unless it was someone other than JTT to play Tom Sawyer. BTW, JTT was the appropriate cast for Tom Sawyer. The 1973 version seems better w/ Jodie Foster, Johnny, and Jeff.

Summary: Great Movie but Wrong Actors
Review: The story of Tom Sawyer in the book was brought out in the film. The story was great. But the actors were not right. Brad Renfro was much better in other films. And JTT wasn't the best actor for the part. Don't get me wrong, the movie was still great, but it could have been better.

Summary: A viewer from New York
Review: This film is hard to recommend. Jonathan Taylor Thomas is grossly miscast in this film. Disney should have put effort into developing a decent script rather than trying to showcase one of their popular stars! It lacks the charm and wit of the novel and JTT is not a bit believable as Tom. He is a talented actor, don't get me wrong. But he has no business playing Tom Sawyer. Too much of his attitude from his Home Improvement character comes through. Brad Renfro is acceptable as Huck, but nothing to cheer about. Disney relied too much on popularity and sacrificed believability here.... .

Summary: It's great!
Review: This is a great video! I can watch it over and over and over again for ever. Not only is Jonathan Taylor Thomas in it ( the most gorgeous actor EVER!), but it gives a picture of how it was in that period. It's just great!

Summary: I LOVE IT!
Review: This movie is GREAT! I totally love it. I am 15, and my friends and I are really big JTT and Brad Renfro fans and we watch as much as we can whenever we can! It has wonderful people playing the characters, and they both look so cute in the video! It is a must see! :-)

Summary: Not really kid material, but adults will like it.
Review: This movie is like the controversial "Antz" but can't be compared to anything. This movie is not the best movie for kids, it's, in short, a gritty and harsh movie about Tom and Huck's misadventures. This movie has some violence and some bad language (ex. "Damn! I lost my marble!") that makes it more of an adult movie. And Brad Pitt's drama-soaked acting method certainly hasn't changed, he becomes one with his role, just as he did in "Fight Club". So in short, be careful showing this movie to your kids, but if you're an adult, you can only think one thing about Brad Pitt and JTT:

They've come so far.

Summary: Olden Day Story with Modern Day Mischief
Review: This movie was wonderful! Jonathan Taylor Thomas is the right person for Tom Sawyer. Brad Renfro is an awesome Huck Finn. I could watch this movie five times a day!!

Summary: Tom And Huck
Review: Very entertaining but alittle scary for little ones. I would view with your child and explain certain situations. My 7 year old son enjoyed it!
